Chimera blinked at Durza, "Why would you want to know about him?"

(D-U knows why Chimera isn't so pleased about being asked about Spyro ...)

Durza looks at her like she's crazy "who wouldn't? He's one of the greatest hero in the history of time. He's my idole"

"Hero? ... The Spyro I know is as evil as they come." Chimera blinked.

(Chimera's first adventure brought her to a reality where Spyro and Cynder were evil ... she's never heard of them before that. Yeah, quite a bad first impression.)

(Oops, I meant Durza right there, I'll go change it.)

(Name some then Shade. And Silver dragons only have one element. They just have magic. And what Fire and electricity dragon?)

(Honestly I haven't read LOS fanfictions in awhile, so I wouldn't know about that either way. But I guess it depends on what you consider "special." Do you mean a dragon that's legendary/other, or one that's simply not ordinary? If it's the former than yeah they should be kept to a minimum, both in-story and certainly RPs, but if we're talking characters who simply have traits that make them stand out in notable but not game-changing ways then I don't see the problem. I'd say it makes less sense to have a fantasy-story where everyone except the "chosen beings" has the exact same potential with all the possibilities that the genre can offer. And my own story has quite a few creatures with unique capabilities, but as you said, there are still less than four who actually fall under legendary.)

(And I think it's best if I just go and post the Durza-thing on Shade's guestbook, as you guys can see I easily go on a tangent when talking about characters and such, so I'll just ramble way too much )

Durza frowns and says "but that makes no sense to me" he sits down confused "how could my hero be a crimanal? He's supposed to be one of the most ritchus heros of all time. He slayed the dark master and pulled the world back together with Cynder's help." he blinks and looks at Chimera and says with a desprate tone "what about Cynder? Please tell me she wasn't evil."

"So what do we do?" Kihei asked

Vexx looked at Durza. "I have no clue who this Spyro or Cynder people are..." He said.

(I mean like the fanfiction Tears of an Oracle, or Residual Darkness. Almost every character in that fanfic is just normal. Sure they are very good at fighting, but they are just normal everyday dragons. Same with stories like Resurgence.)

Durza ignored Vexx and walked up to Chimera waiting for an answer.

Chimera frowned, "Both of them."

Glare sighed, "That's the funny thing about realites and dimension, you never know who you might encounter, and how."

(Hm, I still don't understand why one would be against characters that aren't totally ordinary, even when it makes sense and is done well. That just seems like a large and unnecessary limit on creativity just to try to avoid Special Snowflake Syndrome. It's not just the idea that makes or breaks an oc, it's the execution, so a simple character is just as capable of being boring or just all-around badly made as a stand-out character is of being that and/or a mary-sue, so I don't think ocs should get praise just for being unique or not, but for being good characters in general no matter who or what they might be, but I digress~)

"You said it." Avia murmured, exchanging a bewildered look with Velia. "We've only ever heard of those two beings heroes, ourselves."

"Spyro and Cynder... Spyro and Cynder... Now those names sound familiar... But from where?" Vexx asked.

Durza is cast fallen and stepps back with a mortified look on his face. confused he holds his head and lays down to try to make sense of what he was told "that can't be right. it just can't be right. this doesn't make any sense. why? why? why?"

Glare walked over to Durza and the others, "It's a vast universe out there, many different dimensions have versions of people that are unlike the one's others know. Where yours were good, Chimera's first impression is one of a more evil kind. Now that we've got this settle, let's hurry up and save the Fire Key, lest the volcano should blow."

(Dangbabbit, sorry SC.)

(Just wanted to point out... Mortified means ashamed or embarrassed or humiliated... Its a common mistake to use it in that way Shade... In fact I would've done the same thing if mortified wasn't one of my vocab words last week...)

"I think I remember them from stories, but they were nice" Isis said

"Wait Chimera, don't you go through dimensions? Maybe it was a dimension where they were evil" Kihei suggested

Durza calmed down and nodded agreeing with Glare and said "you're right. let's get to it."

(EB ... Glare just said that.)

Chimera nodded, "Same."

"Lets just... Hurry up." Vexx said, panting lightly.

"Ok" Isis said

"hey wait for me!" said Durza. wanting to keep up he hurried over.

Durza fallowed closely behind wanting to be useful to the others. "so when we find this key what should I expect?" asked Durza. he wanted to be prepared for whatever he's going to face.
