She's a Youtube star, therefore, not that much money will be put into it. Just because she's a singer, doesn't mean she can act. Acting and singing are two different things.

She's a Youtube star, therefore, not that much money will be put into it. Just because she's a singer, doesn't mean she can act. Acting and singing are two different things.


Yes but since the movie is a musical, the good singing ability will pay off. And even though she isn't a full on actor, this could be amazing.

Also she will be partnering with Relativity Media for this movie

If Toby Turner, a Youtuber who actually tries acting, can star in one of the worst horror films of all time, then i don't see this film being any better.

Just because it will have good singing doesn't automatically mean it will always be a good movie. Look at most Disney Channel movies- they star good singers but they can't act for the life of them.
