I couldn't get into MLP:FiM. I failed to see what's so amazing about it. I suppose it's more about the friendship within the fandom than the show itself.

^Trust me friendship in the fandom is a pretty mixed bag. My experience with it is that they claim to be open to all and be friends with everyone, but in the end they have a very clique like attitude that makes outsiders (like myself) feel unwelcome and keep more to themselves. I've been to a convention, a couple of TCG meetups, and was on a forum for nearly a year to have seen this in action, and I don't really think I intend to do so again.

And that doesn't include all the drama the fandom has had over things (Ask Molestia, Derpy's voice change, Alicorn Twilight, etc) where they acted in a way that is not at all friendly and is downright abhorrent.

Maybe for more established guys it's more about the community of "awesome" people they got to meet than it is the show, but my experience is that I've run into people that frankly don't give a **** about people they don't already know.

Anyone ever notice how I became more of a softie to new users when I came back from that forum? Because I realized how it feels and I don't want that happening to anyone here. I want dS to be better than that.

It's about love and tolerance


Also ZeroD you do realize that a large amount of the hub that works on the show have became bronies (or Pegasister to be correct for any females ) themselves. The HUB even shouted us Bronies and Pegasisters out and don't mind us at all.


Also there is hidden references kids wouldn't get, like most TV shows.

It has a rather large audience of people both young and old. I watch the show, so do a few of my friends in their 20's. I'd say a good portion of Doctor Who's audience is around the same as as what really is MLP's audience.

Doctor Who is supposedly regarded as more of a kids show in the UK, so yeah a sizable part of it is.
