The game would actually be able to compete with Crash: Twinsanity, in my opinion.

It would have been longer, much less glitchy, and much more polished. If you do some research, it's easy to find the documents which show what the game was supposed to be like.

More levels, another hub world, better control, and (according to the devs) a rock solid 60 FPS framerate. Would have been a sight to behold, I'm sure. <.<;

It'd probably be D'Island (deviantART; check Fourth-Star's work) on a much grander scale.

Let's not stretch this into original content, especially since Fourth-Star doesn't like a whole lot to be compared to Spyro content anymore. It'd be probably some weirder version of A Hero's Tail sans everyone being rude and demeaning.

Do you still think that some grandmothers won't find Mario 64 "weird?" I mean, everybody's mind was blown then. And yet, even with that game being most accessible N64 game, the market still wasn't as open as it is today. Every newcomer to the medium will misunderstand almost everything about it, especially what this forum is about.

Wrong meaning of weird - ETD has some really wacky world theme choices like in Crop Circle Country or Honey Marsh. AHT plays it pretty safe most of the time(swamp world, ice valley world,ice cave world,etc etc), but even unfinished ETD really went for the strange and unusual.

I played it before to,horrible game it was.

It would have been a good game but as mentioned above, not great. It still would have lacked new ideas, kinda like Wrath of Cortex of the Crash Bandicoot series.

Does this belong under General, or under Enter the Dragonfly?
Other than that, This game had so much potential, yet was a rushed mess. Had this game been completed, it would, as Other People have mentioned, been fairly decent. It may have even continued the series to be a simple 3D collect-a-thon series of platformers, and a mini-reboot wouldn't have happened with A Hero's Tail, and we wouldn't have received The Legend of Spyro.
