Honestly this is subjective, plus you first need to define 'better' because there are some things one did better than the other and vice versa.

I respectfully disagree, I like Sm4sh alot and there are some aspects Melee provided that I liked better than some in Sm4sh but overall I'd take Sm4sh over Melee.

Sure he is cute but why play him when you can just play Pikachu? Sure the self damaging makes it show accurate but do you really want to play a character that makes it easier for the opponent to win?

Luigi's Mansion is another story, I wasn't saying older games are bad. Sometimes they can be better, in smash bros case though that isnt the case.

I prefer Melee, but I want complete Smash 4. I've completed 3DS, and I'm working on Wii U now.

No one plays as Pichu, and it is far better than a million clones and Sakurai bias. The graphics are pretty good. They haven't aged awful. Still incredibly playable.

There's a game called Phantasy Star Online that once did so, there is an emulated version of it now with it's own running servers since the gamecube version was taken offline called Phantasy Star Blue Burst, but it was originally on Gamecube.

You would be correct, I am indeed emulating Melee. Forgive the messy desktop. Using my own dumped version of the game. Feels good to play Melee legally on an emulator.



Edit: Before anyone calls me out telling me I will be banned, the discussion of ROM's/ISO's and emulation is 100% ok. Distributing such files and asking where to get them, or claiming you pirated a copy is not. My copy of Melee is from my own game.

Contradictions, they get the best of you. I am 100% playing the same version of the game that everyone else plays. Only difference is that I can play online if I want.

Personally i think WiiU is the best of the smash games. it's a lot more balanced and smooth than melee imo. melee is definitely my pick for 2nd though.

They're both at least better than Brawl.
