Fun fact, in South America where I'm from, most kids believe that "El Niño Jesus" (Jesus the Child) delivers gifts instead of Santa!

In Belgium, if you were a bad child, Sinterklaas would kidnap you for a year.
Also, he had black people that helped him instead of elfs.

Spoiler, I suspect you don't read this if you're a young kid, or a 'Santa believer'

Santa is not real, don't you find it creepy how he knows when your sleeping, he knows when your awake... I mean that's real creepy. Parents just brain wash their kids to believe that so the get excited, and all crazy about the spirit. I mean, you're going to find out anyway, and when it's too late, your kids will end up being heart broken, so if you told them during their earlier years, they would most likely understand, and learn to deal with it.

Santa is not someone you know in person, so wouldn't you rather receiving gifts from your family that actually love you, not some random guy, dressed up in a red and white suit, with a beard going 'ho ho ho.'

Only those that know the truth open this

The guy is just a "holiday spirit" that represents the holiday, not an actual person. Historically Saint Nick did the same thing on a more realistic scale. It's just a way to trick younger kids into being good around this time of year traditionally. To kids "free toys" is a way to encourage them to behave so they can have matierial possesions that will keep them busy for a few hours.
