Now that we've seen/have the Light and Dark Expansion Packs, what do you think of Luminous and Nightshade, the last two Doom Raiders? Which one do you like better?

Luminous impersonated the real Mags and tricked the Skylanders into unlocking the seals to the Sunscraper Spire Tower where he was originally imprisoned by Knight Light.

Nightshade plans to use the Dark Eye of Tomorrow to steal everything in Skylands and uses the Skylanders to take out the active security forces that was protecting the artifact.

Just spam his swipe and sneak attack moves and he's pretty OP (spoilered in case you don't want to know his moves yet). 3. DAT THEME! While I like Luminous' crystal slam attack, the rest are decent in my opinion. Also, his theme will never be as great as THE GREAT NIGHTSHADE!

Wasn't he supposed to remained trapped there? Unless maybe the real Mags did enter Sunscraper Spire and somehow got replaced by an impostor.

I have seen so many young fans get confused about Luminous and Mags.

The real Mags goes with you to Sunscraper Spire and stays behind at the beginning of the level. She even hints that she feels like they were being watched. As soon as the Skylander reaches the first block puzzle in the second area, Luminous approaches them after just shapeshifting into Mags (as evident by the glowing on him as it disappears afterwards).

After you capture Luminous, the real Mags is still at the Academy.

I just gave a little tutorial on how to get the images:

Just go to www.skylanders.com > find the character whose image you want > right-click the image > Inspect Element (in Chrome) > look in the right side panel Dev Tools and find the background-image > right-click link > Open link in new tab > enjoy!

If you can't do it, make a new thread asking for images and I'll post them there.

Well, actually Luminous is the Doom Raider who appears the most, throughout his level, more or less...

I vote for him.
He has godly-like powers, is fast and simply AWESOME, design wise.
A great choice for the "dark" side of Light.

Nightshade gets a huge plus, tough, because his italian voice actor is the same who voiced Sly Cooper.
I LOL'd so much when I found it out.

Spoilers ahoy?

Nightshade... Is awful. His attacks are all slow and very underwhelming. I like his personality and love how he's basically a walking reference to Sly Cooper (even though I haven't played those games), but his moveset is executed terribly and his theme song is a mess.

Luminous is awesome, an instant favourite. Awesome theme, really fun personality and a great moveset. I also really like how he ties in with Knight Light's backstory (speaking of which, that Skylander is amazing).

So... Luminous. I think he's so much better than Nightshade. In fact, it's not even comparable! Even his level is much better (I HATED Midnight Museum, but I thought Sunscraper Spire was FANTASTIC).

I'd have to go with Nightshade. While he may be a bit slow, if you use him right, he can take out smaller enemies in one to two hits. The trick is: you have to get directly behind the enemy in his Stealth Mode, then attack said enemy with the swipe. It does over 300 damage normally. Plus, you can get lots of Gold this way.
Midnight Museum was nice, but was short. The pinball segments were unique, but semi monotonous and frustrating.

Luminous is decent.
Sunscraper Spire felt rushed, in my opinion. While it looks great, I encountered multiple bugs when I played through it.
