I was talking to s guy yesterday who just got back from the left coast.

He was telling me about the HUGE Toys R Us store he saw.

The Skylanders display covered a whole wall and dedicated 3 ft for each character from floor to top shelf.

He didn't get a picture.

Anyone on the left coast see or frequent this TRU and can post pictures?

My two that I go to have 2 walls, one in the front and one in the back. If you go to TRU, I recommend to check both of them because you never know what you may find.

The TRU in Salinas, CA looked like nobody had ever bought a Skylander before, when I visited back in October. They had shelves full of SSA, Giants, Swap Force, and Trap Team figures, including many variants!

Our TRU has a big display up front like they always do. They also have an entire aisle devoted to just Skylanders in the back of the store.

To clarify you mean an actual display like in the lego stores, and not just a giant aisle right?

My store in TN is setup the same way. ....and its always empty of the Trap Team figures...lol.

Yea same here in Northeast TN one wall near the entrance with a split display of Trap team and the games. Then there is the second display in the electronics section that is mostly SSA, Giants, and SF. But the Trap team section is definately lacking as of now. I'm still hoping for a restock of traps so I might be able to find a chaos trap for my neice.

I live towards the east but there is a huge thing out in front at my TRU that sounds like what you just discribed. My TRU also has a whole isle in the back of the store.

Post pictures of the displays please and possibly an address to the store cuz I plan on stopping at few of the TRU megastores next summer on vacation.

We don't have TRU megastores here in Iowa. :-(

Probably not the best pictures as I was on the ferris wheel at the time but these are from Toys R Us Times Square NY. This was the day before TT release. They also have a smaller display of older Skylanders in the video game section.

Waiting for someone to post pic's from Time Square...it is one of the largest....if not the largest.

I don't know of any other Toys R Us that have displays like Times Square. Everything they do is big. I've been to stores in Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island and they don't compare. They have decent size displays but not nearly as elaborate.
