"I don't like the fact that we have no real plan..." Shadow commented. Kumara looked towards the black dragon.
"Don't worry, we can stay in the shadows until the fight breaks out. That way, we can have the element of surprise," she replied. Shadow nodded slowly and began to follow the others.

"I just hope we aren't being lead into a death trap..." Shadow muttered under his breath.

"Flame, you literally ruffled Blarna's feathers with that comment," Silver teased. "Although, I do agree with him. We're never going to get anywhere if we fight each other instead of Gallon.

Sharpwing flew into the tunnels. "You've got someone missing?" he asked. "I can read these corridors like a book. Or is the saying 'I know them like the back of my hand'?

Chimera raised a curious eye ridge, "Nice to see that you are alright, Sharpwing. And yes, Skyward has gone to fight Gallon on her own."

"I've never tried to fight him, but I know that he can't be beat by a single dragon. Is she suicidal, insane, or both?"

"I'm guessing insane," Silver growled.

Chimera shuddered, hearing that 'he can't be beat by a single dragon' part reminded her so much of Nothung, the pitch black dragon. "Then we should try to intercept her before she ends up doing the one thing she's trying to stop." Chimera said.

Starflash continued to be with the group. She then cautiously approached Flame;
"I didn't want to fight. She started it." she said, almost stammering. She completely agreed with Flame that fighting would make things worse, but Skyward was the one accusing and criticising.

"She didn't want to fight," Silver challenged. "You started it. I agree with the plan, though."

"If you guys keep on arguing about who started it, then you friend is going to get ripped from stem to stern by Gallon," Sharpwing growled, "and it's going to be your fault because you were too busy arguing."

Starflash was in outrage. Not only has Skyward accused her, she was being blamed for the fight. She went further from the group, furious, but not wanting to burst.

"The more we fight, the more we loose precious time! Just shut up every one and try to think of a solution!" Kumara hissed. All this arguing was hurting her ears.

Shadow followed Starflash quietly, "are you OK?" He asked.

"Oh, come on," Sharpwing growled. "Two men down."

Aurora walked up to Starflash. "Me and you will go with your plan if we have to."

"I don't want to fight, not especially to those who are suppose to be on my own side. Not only do they judge me, they blame me for everything!" Starflash complained, almost crying. She felt like most of the group was against her.

Both Chimera and Blarna had noticed Starflash's words and so they walked over to the young phoenix, "We don't blame you, not one bit." Blarna said.

"Yeah, I may not like your plan, but you will remain my friend for as long as time lasts." Chimera said next.

"I know that. It it them I am angry with." Starflash explained, signaling Silver in particular.

With wisdom beyond her years, Chimera said, "Don't be too upset, they only think your idea will fail, as do I, to be honest. However, regardless of how the plans go, we will be fighting Gallon in the end. And I, among others, would like that fight to happen before Gallon can do something that will end badly. In other words, have hope in your friends, I learned that lesson long ago."

Sharpwing smacked his tail against the ground. "We've got a bunch of people gone missing and only one guide. Are people crazy, or what?"

Chimera turned to Sharpwing, "Ready to take up my offer of joining us, we might need your help."

"Hmph....I'm only here for Aurora, I need her skills" Flame said, "I'll come along to ensure that she won't die" Flame said coldly.

Blarna had just about had it with Flame, and she trembled in her contained anger.

Shadow and Kumara followed closely behind.

"Should all of us see him at the same time, or should some of us hide?" Kumara asked. She still had no idea if this would work.

Starflash was waiting for the right moment to help, but she was also hesitant. She was so upset by the way they blamed her for the earlier fight that she wasn't on her best interest to help.

"I'm going to be on the frontlines." Chimera said with certainty.

"We'll be hiding." Gale and Polara said.

Blarna and Anralb looked at each other, unsure.

"We will hide in the shadows, that's our speciality," Shadow said with Kumara nodding.

Starflash wasn't sure now. Se had received so much critique for her plan that she didn't had the enthusiasm to go along with the plan as she did before.

"Believe me, I'm trying." Starflash replied, not being able to hide how upset she still was for the earlier accusations.

"Kumara and I will commence hiding," Shadow said before disappearing into darkness.
"Give us a signal of when to attack," Kumara said before following Shadow.

Chimera stood next to Aurora with a frown, but she dipped her head down in a gesture of respect. On the inside, she felt ashamed to even just act this way.

Skyward listened to them talk while she hid. "I'm ready," she growled to herself, "and I'll stop their plan if I die trying."

"I hope you understand that I'm not fighting," Sharpwing apologized. He gave a clumsy bow and sneaked away.

Blarna and Anralb looked at each other and have a bow to Gallon, hoping everything would go as planned.

Chimera frowned; knowing that this would happen, "Chains can't hold me, or don't you know." Chimera shifted into her shadow form and rematerialized on the ground.

"Since when can a dark-fire griffin like you wield light?" Chimera said calmly.

Starflash tried everything to get out of the cage. Her new blue fire, and her rediscovered wind powers, but nothing worked. Her wind power cut though solid rock back at the volcano, but not whatever that cage was made of. It was the first time she felt so desperate, and as she continued struggling, she spoke.
"Come on! Isn't giving up enough for you!?" she said to Gallon, as she moved from side to side like a canary...

"If you guys would like, I'm sure I can free us and proceed to kicking his tail." Chimera said confidently.

"I guess reasoning with a madman helps not." Blarna sighed.

"It seems you were right Chimera, Gallon wasn't about to play nice." Anralb said.

Starflash was feeling very guilty at the moment. She was sure her plan was going to work. She thought that once Gallon believed they were giving up, he would only want servitude. She never saw coming that he would actually obstruct their freedom...
