"I still don't like this." Shade said taking off as well.

"The mountain is behind us, so we head in the opposite direction, which is west," Starz replied, stretching out her wings.

"But the crystal wasn't here yesterday." Azuron said, stretching out his wings as well for when he was ready to fly. "It must have covered the area overnight, while we were sleeping." He looked over at Derrick. "And for some reason Derrick didn't sense it happening."

"It wouldn't be wise to take unknown things." Shade said.

Starz paused for a moment. "It's just a piece of crystal. It shouldn't..do anything." She then nodded Aretis and spread her wings, jumping up into the air. "From here on, we head west." She pointed in the direction they needed to go.
Azuron flapped his big wings, lifting himself into the air.

"I know but its just seems strange." Shade said.

"You might be right," Starz murmured, looking down at the crystal ground below. "Anyway, let's get going." She suddenly took off, soaring around a huge pointed crystal covered rock sticking up from the ground, and off into the light mist.
Azuron quickly flapped his big wings and followed the light dragoness.

Starz shot a light beam down at the ground below to see if the crystal would somehow react or if it was magical crystal that had some kind of defense mechanism. The crystal shattered, but nothing happened. The light dragoness shrugged and continued flying through the light mist.

As Starz flew along, she noticed more crystal covered rocks were disappearing, and the land was becoming more like a crystal covered plain instead, and she also noticed the mist was getting thicker. She slowed down, waiting for the others to catch up, and to tell them to go slow until the mist wasn't completely obscuring their surroundings.

The mist suddenly became thicker, obscuring almost all of their surroundings. Starz immediately slowed down, flying very slowly through the thick mist. "Be careful, guys!" she called back to the others.

"Stay close everyone! It's easy to get lost in this." Shade said.

The problem was, Starz didn't know where the ground was. They could have been just above it, or they could have flown over a cliff and the ground was now hundreds of meters downwards. All the group could see was mist.
Starz was about to reply to Aretis when suddenly, she flew out of the mist, and, she noticed the landscape had changed.
Gone were the pointed rocks and the crystallized ground. A dark rocky plain stretched out for miles in front of them, with dark hills far in the distance. And not too far from them, there was a hill to the left, with a castle situated on top.

"Are we going in there?" Azuron asked, lowering himself down to the rocky ground.
Starz followed Azuron's action, keeping her eyes on the castle as she landed. "I think we might have to. Look." The light dragoness pointed over at the bottom of the castle, where slowly dark mist was drifting out of the windows. "The mist is coming from it."

Shade growled. "Then we must try to sneak in."

"I kind of feel like I'm being watched too," Azuron murmured after hearing Derrick speak, shivering slightly.
"Whoever or whatever is creating the mist is inside the castle. That's where this mist is coming from." Starz replied, glancing over at Kumara. She then looked over at Aretis. "I can't see another way to get close to the castle, so we'll go with the route Aretis spotted and we can all form a plan along the way." She began to walk in the direction of the castle.

Shade followed.

OOC: Sorry for not posting, guys. Anyway, hopefully most of us are still willing to post in this, since I'd really like to finish it.

Starz began walking faster, and then began running. She then spread her wings and began to glide, keeping low to the ground and pushing off it to gain more speed. She kept her eyes on the castle, knowing that whoever was in there was the cause of the dark mist and most likely the 'boss' of the dragon who had taken over Aretis. As much as she tried to keep her negative emotions low, she couldn't help but feel anger inside of herself, and her dark paws had begun to sting. She tried to ignore it and kept flying towards the castle.

Azuron noticed that Starz had sped up and looked back at the others. "We better keep up with her," he called, turning back around and running after her.

"Be carful everyone. Danger is everywhere." Shade said. He then felt slight pain in his chest. He looked at it and saw darkness was spreading. He tryed to hide it with his paws.

The group soon reached the cliffs that surrounded the castle, and as they flew and ran alongside them, the light dragoness spotted a way in. There was a space between two cliffs, and that space had stairs which led up to one of the windows of the castle.
"I think that might be our way to get in," Starz said. She then winced, feeling a sharp sting in her paws, but tried to ignore it again.

Shade looked to Starz."you ok?"

Starz glanced over at Shade. "I...I think so." She slowly padded over to the stairs and looked back at the others, waiting for them to follow.

Shade hufft and held his chest a moment then followed Starz.

Starz blinked. "Wh-what do you mean?" she asked. She felt another sharp sting in her paws and she winced.
Azuron looked over at the light dragoness. "You don't look so good, Starz," he said. "Are you alright?"
"I..." Starz took a couple of steps back and accidentally bumped into Aretis. "I'm fine."
