Can anyone tell me what exactly does the Villain Broccoli Guy doing? It says "Radiant Crops cost Gold!" as it's special ability, but it works for only 15 mins, I captured it two times but have no idea how to use it!

When you click on a crop field, you can use gems to plant crops with a higher energy yield. With Broccoli Guy, the gem cost becomes a gold cost.

It's still a high gold count for what you get. The bonus really comes with the time it takes to harvest (7 seconds). I did it a few times just for the fun of it as I had lots of gold, but I don't think I care to do it anymore.

I got him over the weekend and committed to only spending 25 million, but his time ran out before I got to 21 or 22 million.

7 seconds to harvest means you can get a lot of energy in that 15 minutes. I trapped him when my element of the day was Tech. Tech crops plus bonuses from shrines added up to a lot in that short time. I have more gold than I can spend, so I didn't really notice how much it cost. But he's interesting. You can collect tons of gold before you can collect tons of gems. I already have both Arbo and Ol' Mac, but I wonder if someone who could not yet afford these high-priced companions would be able to compensate energy needs by periodically trapping Broccoli instead.

Heh make sure you don't have crops already planted when you capture him, I wasn't thinking and had 20+ min left in current crop so will gain nothing.

I have noticed with a lot of the trap team they are only REALLY useful if you have a large number of the item already spawned. If you keep things cleaned they are not useful. Except things like the 1/2 price sanctuary and things like that where as long as you have them free they are best caught then because the time to complete is always the same.
