Ah, that would explain why. Well basically, some guy called Guy Fawkes tried to blow up our Prime Minster's house on the 5th of November but he failed. I think he was hung. Ever since then, England have this ****ing annoying and unnecessary tradition of setting off fireworks on the 5th and burning a doll on a bonfire. It's supposed to last one night but nOOOOO fireworks are too pretty to just play around with for one night!

Been seeing it since late September in some places.

I love Christmas and it's my favorite holiday, but I'd rather not see or hear anything about it until at least mid November.

I kinda heard about Guy Fawkes cause of some pokefarm event and V for Vendetta "Remember remember the 5th of November the gunpowder treason, and plot, I haven't a reason the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot."

I knew there was some day celebrating him sorta, I just didn't really know how this "holiday" went and somewhat assumed it alike to our President's Day or Columbus Day. A day that doesn't particularly matter, but most schools might let out for and you get good sales on furniture.

Yep, that smilie I think we should just let it go. It happened decades ago and I don't think anyone even cares anymore. It's just about the fireworks
