Since so many people were complaing about how bad most music had become recently I think we need a topic for modern songs that are worth a listen.

All of these songs came out between 2013 and 2014. As modern as it gets.

Everyone has a different definition of what a "good" song is, though. I could post some stuff that I like and everyone says that it sucks. Unless you just mean post what we like, then ya no problemo..

I listen to pretty much all of the songs by the above artists, but I just picked my favorites of their more recent songs.

I don't feel like posting links, look it up yourself.
And if you listen to Animals, I would suggest listening without watching the music video.

My favorite song of 2014 would definitely have to be from Sia. At first I was debating between Chandelier or Eye of the Needle. Both pieces are beautiful, but I love the second one much more.
