Hi,

I'm a wii owner and I got the wii swap force starter pack.

I plan to buy a wii u by xmas.

So, as the portal and the skylanders themselves are compatible, I got that foolish hope of just buying the wii u swap force disc.

Now my question is this:

We're french speaking. (so the kids don't understand a word of english)
Would an UK english swap force disc play in french if the wii u language is set to french?
Or would localization be disc dependent?

Hey there,

We do recommend purchasing the game and title for the region that you live in. The languages that come with the disc are all region based and you would need to find if the UK disc has the french language. Though as stated it would be wise if you purchased it for your region as to not cause any region issues that could occur with mismatched regions.

its not the game but the system language that you have set your wiiu to, that decide what language get used. french,german,english is on all european discs...

I believe you select your language.

Oops I lied, You can choose the language on your disc before the game starts, this pops up every time you go to play the game.
