I find that very interesting. On my profile, it clearly says 'female'

Just wondering. Why?

Sometimes people see avatar as gender. I have had people ask if I was female before due to the avatars I normally had in earlier sparx ranks (Female Singers and/or MLP FIM)

I have avatars turned off... so I don't see your avatar, and thus cannot attempt to determine your gender from it if I wanted to.

Also, I don't tend to go to folk's guestbook page generally unless I'm going to block them (not often), have been directed there by another member (not often) or accidently click someones name on my phone (more often than I'd like).

I don't much care if you're male or female. I'm happily married and thus, in the grand scheme of things, someone's gender on here makes zero difference in how I interact with them.

However, the "Generic He" isn't calling you male. It's a perfectly acceptable pronoun to use when you do not know the gender of the subject in question. Little known fact, the title "Ms." is how you would address someone in written form if you did not know his or her gender.

Now... why does everyone assume I'm male?
