Caramelldansen is j-pop not vocaloid, although can be covered by vocaloids
...right? I don't think that was originally a Vocaloid song *shrug* I still get what you're saying
Anyway, i find Miku too overrated, but then you have to think. Vocaloid isn't...er...very well known in places such as America. Of course, most anime fans and others might know of vocaloid, and the reason would be because of Hatsune Miku. Yes, in my opinion she doesn't have the best design nor best voice, but she's still the icon and gets vocaloid around. Heck, she's gonna be on the David Letterman show for pete's sake. It's another country's culture that is slowly being integrated here. She opened for Lady Gaga when she was on tour, she'd gonna be on the David Letterman Show, Miku Expo is going to be in LA and NY. Vocaloid isn't even originally Japanese, the first vocaloid was english, as was the second and third. There are plenty of english vocaloids, like Avanna who was featured in Sad Machine by Porter Robinson. A lot of people don't know about these vocaloids, or even other language vocaloids like the Spanish ones and Chinese ones. It's all about the Japanese ones because of Crypton and how they marketed them. The main 6 dominate Vocaloid in every aspect, such as merch, installations, concerts, everything. Wait, I forgot what I was talking about....what point was I trying to make...um....er....uhh, that Vocaloid isn't just Miku and Japanese? Sure, let's go with that.

I really don't know why people keep making vocaloid-hate topics. Ok, we get it, you hate Vocaloids, now stop making pointless topics about it (yes I know this is S&N, but there are other pointless topics you can make). Others don't make topics about what you guys hate, do they? No.
