the reason being is she is fair just truthful and i think she could help with the trolling problem i was a troll in the past couple days but I know now i was being stupid so lets see if we can't get Aura to be a mod

Dark had applications once and chose 10 mods. Since then about half of them have left (and who knows maybe more are on the way out) and rather than replace those mods, he just has the existing ones come in and take the sections. He will never hire mods again; he'll just have existing ones take all the sections, even if it means coming down to two global mods.

Dark didn't chose her the first time when she was among the most obvious choices. What would be different now?

I would not be shocked if he left it without mods and have us at square one.

No, I have no plans on becoming mod. Who would want to be mod here when the admin doesn't bother reading users reports anymore and only cares about forum news above all else.

I honestly thought Aura was always too opinionated to be a mod.
Not that being opinionated is a bad thing, it isn't a particularly good trait for modding.

I used to want to be an admin on the Mixels Wiki. I wanted to do something that really impressed Green Ninja or Mixedserpent, but I don't really recall why.
I admit I was even jealous when people that were newer to the wiki were made chat mods or admins.
But then I realized two things: One, the chances of that happening were next to nothing because I never really made a lot of edits, and two, I wasn't ready for those positions of power after becoming the leader of a Clan on a roleplay(not on here)

There, I just admitted it. I used to want to have a position of power. But when you think about it, the important thing on a wiki or a forum or on anything like that, is that you help the community. And you don't need to be an admin to do that.

some people seem to forget that being a mod actually requires work, and only see it as a means to popularity and "power"

it's not all that it's cracked up to be, and unless you have serious dedication it's not really worth it

The mod system we have now clearly doesn't work.

LETS TAKE AN EXAMPLE FROM PARLIAMENTARY

Voters are sorted by age groups (the dS equivalent of ridings) and each vote gets tallied from each age group so we know what the majority of each age group wants, so then dark knows who he has to pick to please everyone. It's not parliamentary per se, but I sorta adjusted it to format this forum.
