Resignation From Official Hunter

Now, I'm not leaving Darkspyro. This sites been a part of my life since October 2012 and will still be for a long time. Back on topic, I've decided to resign from Hunter due to several things which I feel is negatively impacting my ability to moderate the site. Firstly, I've had a reduction in activity which isn't good for a moderator. I check everyday on the site, but it feels like I'm becoming inactive more. Secondly, I've made quite a few high profile blunders in my time as moderator, (e.g unjustified Gnorc of Bravo101, THAT Slenderman fiasco, stickying a topic in Site Help and Suggestions for no reason, and a few others as well) which I'm not proud of. It also led to general distrust within the community about my ability to moderate the site, which is still ongoing to this day. Third, I had no business being a moderator in the first place. Heck, I only had about 130 gems when I was chosen, about 3 months on the site and a lack of knowledge about the site/sub-forums. I was only 12 when I applied for the position, and I only applied due to the fact that I thought I could help the site. Obviously that hasn't worked out for me. Fun fact: I was actually kind of immature until I saw the moderator applications coming up, so I changed my image to being sensible. Fourth, my age/ability to mod. I'm only about 14, but I'm still in high-school and need to focus on it whilst not being stressed out. As for my ability to moderate, I've been bad at making decisions for a long while now. I don't want to reveal why I am bad at making decisions due to the fact that it's deeply personal. So in this case, I almost never made the right decisions when moderating. The list goes on and on, but I've bothered you enough with these reasons. I feel that resigning from the moderator position will at least give me the opportunity to start afresh and integrate myself into the Darkspyro community as well as focus on other aspects of my life. I've also grown to a high status on other websites and I'm generally seen as responsible in my school. To be honest, I have more enjoyment out of going onto my other websites and just being myself on Darkspyro than staying as a moderator to satisfy the Darkspyro community, even when my attempts are fruitless. I just know I shouldn't have been a mod in the first place, and I kind of agree with other Darkspyro users about how Dark chose some users "off a dartboard". I'm the bullseye in that dartboard if there ever was one. But being a moderator has taught me several qualities throughout my time as a mod here. I learned how to be responsible and handle a situation without escalating it further in some cases as well as leadership in a way. I've been happy with my time as a moderator here and I wish the remaining 5 Hunters and Dark the best of luck in their jobs and hope they continue to keep Darkspyro a nice place to forum in. I know this would probably be ignored, but I thought that a user who could do so much more than I ever did could take my position as a moderator. I have no-one in particular in my head, but I know that they would do a better job than me. Until me and the Hunters who quit or went severely inactive are demoted, I will continue to unofficially moderate Fandom and Site Help and Suggestions due to Fandom having no actual moderator looking after the section. And with that, I hereby resign from my duties as Hunter.

Frankly I'm amazed it didn't end back in 2010. But you guys seem to forget there's a bit of an age gap between us. If any of you stick around until my age you'll probably find yourself in the same situation with regards to (lack of) ability to visit the site. <.<;
