Frocious sat down in front of her, "Have you lost your memory? Do you remember anything at all? We were only talking in the morning."
It was very strange that another wolf of his own kind didn't know him. Something must have happened to her.

"I'm Blitz." Blitz said. "The dragon next to me is my good friend Skyward, who is not part of the prophecy but is coming anyway."

"well that's a relief!" he said sighing.

Kumara walked over to the group, "Maybe we should start heading towards the cave of pure heart."

Flain grabbed the flower. "Thank you." he said politely. He clipped it to his feathers. "I should really be going in search of Rune now, want to come?"

"Yeah, maybe we'll find water on the way so we can wake Ki up" Virtu said as she tried to get up, but failed

Flain put Ki and Virtu on his back. "Might be a bit of a bumpy ride, but hold on." he said as he flew off.

Virtu nodded as she held Ki in one arm, and held onto Flain with the other "You're so warm, like a lit fireplace, it's so comfortable" She said

Kumara nodded, "We are going to bring back day and we're running out of time. The 1st of Yraurnaj is only two weeks away and we haven't even started. Also, we might find Ura along the way."

Flain flew off, slower then normal because Virtu and Ki were on his back. "Hey, do you see Rune?" he asked. "I can't find him anywhere." He turned around and flew toward the Land of Ice. "There's got to be water there." he said.

"I don't see him Flain" Virtu said

Suddenly, all of the creatures were surrounded by shadow creatures with yellow eyes. They were planning to drain the dragons of their power by making them attack them.

Kumara watched as the shadow creatures began to circle them all slowly. "They must have a plan if they're in a formation," she told everyone. Frocious began to summon his water/ice abilities in case they needed a shield.

One suddenly leaped and attacked Icestorm from behind, while another attacked from the left at Skyward and Blitz. Two began pouncing towards Myth while another two was attacking Frocious and Quartz Shard. Three were aiming for Rune and Devon while two were attacking Kumara.

Kumara charged at one to her left but the other one pounced onto her back.

Frocious used his attack 'Streamlined' to create a shield of water around himself and Quartz Shard.

Skyward used Slamshock. "Blitz!" she yelled. "Come inside the shield!"

"Kumara!" Mindra squeaked and bravely tackled the shadow creature off her. "Sodden Flame!" She didn't know quite what she was doing, but hoped the dark fire would be enough to drive the creature away from her friend.

Myth began to use White Drain to form a whirlpool of wind in front of her enemies. As soon as they got caught she used Smooth Glide to slam into them with great force.

"Again?" Rune squawked as he noticed more shadow creatures surrounding him and the werewolf. He used Spiral Burst to plow through them, and aid Devon's assault on the ground, immediately following up with Talon Strike.

Kumara breathed heavily. "Thanks," she said to Mindra, "nothing is hurting them!"

The creature on Icestorm yowled in pain before vanishing.

The creature in which attacked Skyward backed away before running to Frocious. The creature pushed through the shield and scratched Frocious across his shoulder. Frocious then used Ice Claw to shove the creature off him. Still no damage.

The two attacking Myth turned their attention on Icestorm and Skyward, slowly separating them from the group, while the other shadow creatures held the other races back.

One of the Shadow creatures fazed through Rune's Talon Strike and managed to bight his left talon.

'kill,kill,kill,kill,kill' the creatures began to chant while they all suddenly fled into the bushes. One however, was struggling to follow. It was the one Icestorm had wounded.

The creature growled and said 'kill,kill, time for kill...'
"This is weird," Kumara said blankly.
'kill, Clee-kill... Time for... kill'
"what does that mean?" Kumara asked.

"I wonder... do you think they can only be destroyed using a certain element?" Kumara suggested.
'Cleeeeekrinnn, Cleeekrinn says Kill!' the creatures eyes began changing colours until they were black, the creature than began disappearing.
'Ssssenkrad...' it said before vanishing in black smoke.
"Cleekrin!" Frocious yelped.

Skyward growled. "That...that thing that you mentioned is just so scary."

"Cleekrin's like Voldemort from Harry Potter." Blitz added.

Skyward whacked Blitz with her tail. "You read too much."

Kumara sighed, "at any rate I'm sure we should start moving. We should follow the boarder until the edge of the abandoned territories, then we should make our way towards the lake,"

"Flain, I see some water down there!" Virtu said as she pointed to a small pool of ice water

Flain nodded and swooped down. "This water could wake him up." he said.

Virtu got off of Flain and put Ki into the water

Ki snapped awake "I'm up! I'm up!" He said as he jumped out the water

"What do you think 'Sssssenkrad' means?" Kumara asked.

the group has been travelling for 12 hours before they finally enter the Abandoned Territories. Trees were dead, no animals stirred... It was just how they left the territories years ago when the High Drayga (Leader of all the races) was killed.
