Urh I feel so so much there. There was one time my dash was clogged with social justice stuff because I followed Homestuck fans, and unfortunately a lot of them are also now SJW extremist, so I had to unfollow a lot of people because I don't want to use tumblr for serious issues in the world. I go on there just to talk about shows and games I'm interested in and see other people's opinions and art on them. My dash isn't as bad now, but it's now clogged with Undertale, but it's better than what it used to be. xD

It's also very hard for me to not get Steven Universe stuff on my dash, which is annoying because I don't even watch the show. At least Undertale is one of my favourite video games.



If you have Chrome, I recommend Tumblr Savior. It can block certain words. I.E, if you don't want to see SJW stuff then just put SJW into your black list and there won't be any. It's pretty neat!


It doesn't really work though, since people who post SJW stuff tend to not tag it lol.

slight spoilers for Gurren Lagann:

I didn't really mind that Gurren Lagann got serious during the beginning of the second arc. I was kind of interested to see the direction they were going with the themes they were attempting to take on. Granted, the second arc DID get significantly better when they dropped this idea altogether, but I still thought it was an interesting take. I liked the conflict that Simon and Rossiu had over what's right and wrong for government, and I think it would've been an nice and different story to have.

Same, though I think it could've used a bit more time to develop.

And since there was the rumor that ended up being pachinko, I really think TTGL can end as it is. It's so rare to get a good story with the themes it used start, develop and end in such a short amount of time,and extending that would be disrespectful to the final lesson too. Spinoffs and midquels are okay,but don't try to continue what's finished.

I haven't watched SAO because it never interested me, but I've seen a lot of people say that it was pretty good up until the second part of season 1, which was pretty much an annoying love story. I'm thinking about watching the first part of it since it does look pretty good to me, but I have no idea when that will be. I don't know about season 2 though.

On the topic of dub and sub anime, it really annoys me when people dis dubs all the time, even when they're good. I do agree that the sub is usually better, but occasionally there can be a dub that outshines even the sub, like with FullMetal Alchemist's dub and Soul Eater's dub, and it annoys me how they deny that. I watch the version that's better, because there can be some terrible dubs (like Higurashi's dub). However sometimes I'm forced to watch the sub if the anime is new, because the dub wouldn't have been released yet.

There are of course objectively better or worse subs and dubs, but I heard a few years ago some study about how people will assume the voiceover or singing is better if it's on a language they're not familiar with. Because they can't always point out common mistakes they just think it's the best out there,or something along those lines.

to be honest the only reason i prefer sub over dub is because the sub can seem to portray emotion better. but that's pretty much it.

and one thing that annoys me about subs is that the girls can get horribly high pitched and squeaky, which is something that the dubs do less off.

Most mangas will be like this. Not just online but printed ones sold in stores as well. I've only ever seen a handful that were flipped left-to-right.

They actually explain the reason for such in the back of the One Piece printed volumes along with instructions on how to read it. It's because in order to flip the order in which it's read for reading it in English, it would require flipping the entire page and will flip the perspective of everything in an undesired way. This can lead to expressions being opposite of intended or shirts that have images or text backwards like looking at everything in a mirror.

Personally, I've read so many manga right-to-left that I actually have a hard time switching to read a coming left-to-right. xP

I find Super Mario Galaxy boring for some reason. Sometimes I'll feel in a good mood and question why I haven't played Galaxy in a while, so I put it in, start playing, and I start remembering why I did and just kinda quit. It just isn't that fun for me. I've even done this in a few calls in the Skype Group where I put it in and start playing for others to watch and then after about 20-30 minutes stop out of lack of interest.

I don't know if it's anything wrong with the game itself since I only know about one other person who agrees with me, so I guess this is a truly unpopular opinion. I understand it's a really well made game and all, it just hasn't really clicked with me.

I'm fairly certain I am the ONLY person on the face of the Earth that's genuinely excited for the film adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

Hey, it's the only way I'm ever gonna learn anything about Pride and Prejudice, and the trailer looks reeeeeeally ****ing good.

I'm strangely optimistic about the Angry Birds movie. To me, it doesn't look great, but it doesn't look awful either. I'm just concerned that it could wind up being the best movie based on a video game we'll ever get...

I don't think this is unpopular at all. Everyone on here talking about how good it is are just being sarcastic. A movie doesn't get 4% on Rotten Tomatoes for nothing.

i also get annoyed when the comments get filled with 'looool i only came for teh thumbnail' and nothing else. i actually get more annoyed with that than the actual clickbait. because it's like, no **** that's what they're aiming for most likely.

Back on clickbait, it's not just the obvious things that'd never appear - titles like AMAZING SECRET FOUND IN (INSERT GAME HERE) or CRAZY TRICK TO (random good thing) FASTER and it ends up being 5 seconds of the actual title's subject and 5 minutes of screaming 15-20 year olds trying to find something to point your attention to. If there's not a timestamp preview and it's suspiciously longer than it should, it's an immediate skip.

I'm extremely mixed on Adele. On one hand, she's done some of my favorite songs(Skyfall, Rolling in the Deep, Hello), but she's also done some of the worst songs I've ever listened to(Someone Like You, Rumor Has It).

Global Warming does exist. It's just not entirely humans at fault. The world is in an ice age right now (hence the polar caps and Greenland) and is naturally coming out of it. Humans are just making the process a tad bit faster.

i think that toddlers and kids up to about 6 are cute, but i don't like human babies and newborns and i don't see how they're cute? babies of every other animal species are so much cuter. like, a lot of girls seem to be obsessive over human babies and i'm just like 'yeeaaaahhh i'd rather hold a newborn kitten or any other baby animal, or a toddler'.

like seriously, newborn kittens and kittens in general are pretty much one of my main weaknesses.
