All I can say is it better be satirical/deconstructing or dark! ;P
Seriously the LEGO Movie was and it was a huge a success and palatable for any age.
Doubt we'll get anything more than a very kiddish SKylanders movie though.

Even though I probably wouldn't watch it (Skylanders has never had a good plot/storyline IMO), I think Activision should do this.

At much as I would love to see the awesomeness of my favorite Skylanders characters on the big screen, I'm kind of also hoping a move never happens. I just don't think any kind of movie made by that kind of production team would do the franchise justice...
