What could a close friend do to lift your spirits?
What could a close family member do? How about a not so close family member?
What could a stranger do to make you happy?

This is assuming that you are currently not too happy and/or you feel a bit troubled.

1.) Depends. If it's a guy friend, just being a complete idiot.
Female friend, anything. I'm usually really happy around them.
2.) My closest family member is my dad, and he tells me to toughen up. So I've really got nothing.
A not so close one can cheer me up by leaving.
That simple.
3.) Approach me, because when one approaches me I yell "STRANGER DANGER" and run. That usually makes me laugh.

I dunno, depends on why I'm depressed

Just being there for me and listening. And not judging or yelling or making me feel inferior.
There's one (and only one, demiheteroromanticism for the win! X3) person who can cheer me up very well by being flirty, they're the best at making me happy (and no, that's not a double entender, just for when somePerson or similar shows up).

Eh, giving me space or money.

Give me some random wisdom or tell me something I need to hear.
