You're right. The universe didn't miraculously appear. It was once the singularity of a black hole, which then, well, exploded into this. But we're not special, blessed, or anything. We don't deserve our own place beyond life, while all other things just.... end. We're just products of time, and denying that is just... I don't know. And becides, singing in a choir is worse than any hell, IMO.

Why should our religion define us as people? Same goes for our race or sexual orientation, we are people, all of us are our own person and our thought sand beliefs shouldn't make us hate eachother, we should embrace our differences. It's what life's all about, finding the good in things and not looking for the bad.

To be serious, I must ask. What makes you believe god told you to tell us? Did you have a dream? Who said you would be singing in the choir? Are you telling me you never sinned in your life?

What place do you have to judge the science that we have which is based around experimentation and hard fact? Science is trying to find what got us here, even if the answer does happen to be that there is a higher power (I personally don't believe such). But if you are going to sit here and deny all of science as fiction and something that should be shunned, then turn off your computer, get out of your house, and live in the wilderness. Everything you visit, touch, and live in is a product of scientific research.

The bible is a load of crap. Yes, I believe in God and am a Christian, though I can recognize when science has more to show for itself than a very old book that's been mistranslated a couple dozen times.

this. Rattlebuckler, I am a Christian as well, and let me say you aren't helping anyone right now by shoving our religion down other people's throats. You need to understand not everyone is going to believe in what we believe. As I once said in a topic awhile back, god loves everyone, and I believe he introduces himself to people in mysterious ways, just like the way he works. And he loves everyone, so who are we to judge what others believe in? It's their way of looking at the truth. God has a path for us all, but when we want to introduce other people to our religion, we can't just say they're wrong and we're right, and then say they're going to hell. That's not how you introduce someone to your beliefs.
