The definition between friends or family is hard. Even though one may have blood-genetic-relationship with people there is always a stronger spiritual bond between true friends. I think that family is the most important thing in this world. It is a network of people who are there for you and this includes relatives and absolute best friends. I have two best friends that I’ve known and grew up with for almost full two decades. They are not related to me but they are my family. So eventually family wins over buddies but if your friends are your family it is hard to divide those two things.

Okay before this gets into some creepy label **** I'll keep it simple:

Friends: Not blood-related.

Family: Blood-related

Friends ARE family.

FRIENDS. TV shows are better than people.

I have some really fantastic friends, but I'd put my family first in most cases. I'm really fortunate and grateful to have amazing, generous parents and grandparents (on my dad's side that is, could not care less about my mom's parents because they're selfish, abusive, negligent, gullible, all-around awful and manipulative people). I may not know a lot of my family but the few I know are for the most part great and I'd do a lot for them.

Even though friends are family, I'll choose my friends over my actual family any day.

I mean, I have a lot of great friends, but my family has a lot of cool people.

*Violin music* Growing up I was only around my immediate family and never saw my other relatives except on rare occasion, thus, I made friendships that definitely qualify as family to me.

Plus one's spouse should be their closest friend and dearest family member at the same time (contrary to what culture seems to say these days ._.)

My friends. Both of my sisters hate me, and my mom isn't a big fan of me. The only person in my family that makes me feel loved is my dad.

My friends are really nice to me, and Id rather be with them then my family.

Um....I can't decide....both are amazing, and both have their flaws.....I'll choose......you guys. My second family.
