"Really?" I asked. "I haven't noticed."

"That's why I hate my powers, they only destroy, I'm just a monster" I said to Cain as I sat on the ground

"Your not a monster." I reply.

"What evidence do you have to prove that" I asked "I've gotten several killed" I said as I ran off crying

Cain sighs, "He could just not use his powers if he isn't comfortable with them."

I turn into a bird to chase after Austin. "You are not a monster." I chirped.

"Go away, you'll live longer" I said as he ran as fast as he could

I followed Austin,"y-your not a monster. Y-you need to listen t-to us." I said before grabbing his wrist.

"Why would you talk to me" I asked as I turned around

"have you seen my face you are no monster" i say in a caring tone "these are monsters" i make a bunch of ghoulish ghosts rise from the ground

"Y-yah your no monster. Just s-stay positive. I-if you say your a monster, I-I guess I'm a monster to." I told him.

"Your no monster, you're amazing" I told Paige

" N-no I'm not, my p-powers are useless. I'm l-like part demon angel thing." I sighed," a-at least you can help someone, u-unlike me."

"Paige, you can save people from fires that my horrible powers create" I said to her

"N-no I can't. Y-you could put out the f-fires with your ice powers." I added.

"That doesn't always work" I said

"L-look Austin, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. W-we're all here because of a stupid text right? So the p-people are probably going to help us. I'm s-sure they can help you control your p-powers better." I told Austin.

"True" I smiled "Thanks buddy" I said as I hugged Paige

Cain sighs and looks to the people around him, "Well... What now?"

"I'm still here!" I chirped and flew back to HQ.

Cain sighs and looks to the people around him, "Well... What now?"

" Maybe we should do some training?"

" I guess so" I raise my arms and say "spirits come arise with me now!"

"Wait, before we do anything, we should get where we're supposed to be" I said, reminding the others of the coordinates from the text

"D-did any of us s-see the person to send us the m-message anyway?" I asked.

"Nope, nobody's name was in the From section" I said as I looked right in Paige's eyes

"Well wh-why don't we go look f-for him or h-her in the m-mansion." I said.

"What're you doing, little girl?" he asked. I slowly lifted my gaze to stare up at him. "Uhm...I was...playing?" I had no clue how to react in this situation. He stared for what seemed like forever, then finally nodded. "Okay. Have fun and be careful." He began to walk away, to his original destination, and I exhaled in relief. I picked up the stone, put it in my pocket, and began to rush away.

"Good idea" I said before going into the mansion "Hello, anybody home" I yelled as I light a small fire in my hand to see

Cain flinches as Benjamin summons spirits and shudders, "One, how is summoning spirits a power a mutant can even have? I thought we were all biological. Two, I'd much rather g-go in the mansion than start haphazardly using our powers in the f-front yard doing 'Training.'" Cain walks toward Austin until he uses his powers, "Oh man. Everyone of these people are crazy..." Cain walks around searching for a back entrance.

"You missed training."

I stepped inside the dark mansion. "Here, Austin. This will help." I said as I snapped my fingers and all the lights went on. I bowed down. "After you," I said to the girls.

Logan saw the people he invited walk into the mansion. They would find him soon enough, but he just watched through the window and waited.

((Is Shadmè at the mansion yet?))

((She hasn't even met us yet))

"Thanks buddy" I said as I put out the fire

"T-Thank you." I said before I walked in.

"Don't be afraid, I'll protect you" I said to Paige as I grabbed her hand and smiled

Cain gasps as he sees the lights switch on, "Ooh! Well at least I know someones home." Cain walks through the rear entrance and heads down a hall.

I smiled a shy smile, and accepted Austin's hand," c-come on let's f-follow Cain."

"Ok" I said as I started following Cain "So Sophie, tell me about yourself" I was trying to take her mind of this place

OOC: what I miss?

OCC: guys, my character is walking into the back entrance. He isn't with everybody else.

Oops)) )) it's Paige not Sophie, EyeBrawler)) let's just say they walked further into the mansion, ok?))

I looked down at my feet," I-I'm sorry,but I r-are ally don't want to talk about m-myself...." I replied not looking up.

I saw Austin holding Paige's hand, although they just met. Was that just the gentleman's thing to do? I grabbed Maria's hand slowly.

OoC: Nope, Shadmé's making her way there. :3 It's still a fair distance because to me, I found it illogical to appear in two seconds flat. I mean, we can't all be that close to the mansion, right?

I was about halfway through the town by now, thank goodness it's a small one. I was making good progress, ducking through alleyways and stuff, and hadn't caught any attention since my encounter with the male human. Unfortunately for me, the center of the town was approaching. There was a fountain in the center, and buildings circling around, giving me an idea of the structure of the town. Not important, but I did have to practice my observation skills.
That wasn't all I'd observed. There were some robots, milling around an official-looking building. The town hall? It would make sense that they were in charge of this town. I checked the coordinates on my phone, realizing that the location I was trying to reach was past this town. I shivered. Was it safe to be so close to be going to a place near those things? The thought that this could be a set-up by the robots terrified me more than anything. I stretched my back and felt my wings loosen, sticky with sweat. It was possible that I'd need to get away, really fast. If these robots killed my mother and every other mutant, then it could be difficult.

"Oh, sorry Paige, I didn't mean to bring up bad memories" I said as we walked

OCC: I lived with the Morlocks. They live in the same area.

Cain walks silently, wandering trough the building think to himself 'What are all these doors for?'

"What are you doing?" I asked to Gavin.

Roissinn entered the room.

"What's going on" she asked.

OoC: Okay, well that makes sense. X3

I slipped deeper into an alleyway and began sprinting, sprinting to the end of the town. I had to get away from the robots before I had a panic attack or something. I heard someone shout as I ran by, but I'm pretty sure I just surprised them. I risked a glance behind me, to see if there were any robots that'd detected me, but luckily there weren't any. But then I ran into a wall...
Well, not actually ran into. I instinctively phased through it. But there were people around.
Frick.
I hoped and prayed that I wouldn't get seen when I slipped out through the other side. I returned my body to its normal form and realized the buildings were beginning to fade out. I was so close to the end! Keep running, I told myself.

I pulled my hand away quickly. "Nothing." I said, embarrassed.

Logan just waited.

((BTW I'm leaving for a week long camp tomorrow without internet. Don't go too far without me!))
