My mom does it. If I ask my dad a deep question he'll just say "leave me alone" but he answers questions with simple answers.

I guess it's one of those situations where you had to be there to get why it's funny...


And my dad is like that. Only you don't have to ask a question. You don't even have to say anything. We could just be watching tv or something... and it's always about religion. I don't mind talking about religion, but it's always about the same topics and it gets old and he'll go on about it for like ten minutes and pretty much just repeat the same thing over and over, only worded differently. It gets annoying after a while.
Or we'll ask a question and he'll treat us like we're stupid or something and go on about that for the next few minutes and say "really?' fifty million ****ing times.

Except this. My dad does the exact same thing, lectures about politics for a while if I ask a question that can relate to them in any way. Which is cool, but only if I have a lot of free time. So I tend to go online for answers to most questions!
