My almost 16 year old dog is going to die either this week or next week. I'm so sad. I need a therapist.

Oh man... that sucks brah... I feel really bad. Well at least he/she lived a good life, with a caring owner like you.

Most of the time, predictions turn out to be wrong.

Depends on what type of dog you have, their life span can vary.

I'm so sorry to hear that I completely understand I've had 3 dogs pass on in old age even though 16 years is good you want them to be there forever but they were not built that way.

It breaks your heart to see your best friend,your shadow that you love so much be put to sleep and watch as they fall asleep and then they are gone you feel like saying wake up but they don't.

I had a rotterweiler as a present for my fourth birthday.

I loved him so much.

He had rennal failure he had to have special food.

It got worse over time some days I had to force feed him he would do it for me.

The day Mum said it was time to put him to sleep.

The day I wished that would never come did He went in peace.

That day I wished someone would put me out of my pain without him.

As soon as I got home I took the two girl dogs out and then for some reason I fell down.

Then I started to scream but nothing came out.

You probably think this all over one dog but that dog was very special to me.

He was my childhood friend,he comforted me when I was sick.(which was a lot) He felt like a brother to me I am a only child.

Then a year later the Female Rottie Passed on I loved her very much but she was my Mother's dog.

Then Two years later My Female german shepard Bridie.15/03/13.

Bridie was a very funny and firey girl.

She was my eighth Birthday present I got her 23/04/05

She was a early gift by my Mum after losing My grandma and my other female rottie Molly.

Finbar and Ciara were a rottie pair but there was something missing.

We were planing on getting a Golden Retriever but when I saw Bridie I wanted her.

She loved me from day dot she always wanted to be in only in my arms or lap.

Anyway she was such a cute puppy everyone loved her until she started to hate everone expect my family.

She did not like my Dad so she would bark every time he moved in bed.

Anyway I am dreadfully sorry for your lost that is going to happen.

i have had many dogs, but everyone lives life and dies.
our rottweiler bell never got her injection thing and therefore died.
