I have maxed out pretty much everything. Just bought 4 dark houses and 6 dragon lairs now that they are one sale. Bird houses came back als well. And I have none of those. I might as well get a couple.
Are they worth the 200? What is the Max pay out in gems? Same as the cadettes houses?
A lousy 2 gems?

How many bird skylanders are there anyways to put into?and How long does it take, 4 Hours?

Just bought it and activated it with Jet Vac. It does indeed take 4 hours. I'll have to get back to you about payouts.

I count 13 Skylanders that can use Bird Houses

Payouts are the same as cadette/scout houses. Max gem payout is 2.

The payouts aren't great, but they look kind of cool and it's nice to have a couple of each type of house just for variety and completeness.

Sonic Boom
Fright Rider
Free Ranger (normal and Legendary)
Jet Vac (normal and Legendary)
Hoot Loop (normal and Enchanted)

Flashwing (normal and Jade)

Can Scratch be used in the Bird House?

Scratch is a cat so she can't go into bird houses

For me, I'd rather have the Whirlwinds and Flashwings in Dragon houses, so I won't buy bird houses for them.
Legendaries do better in halls, so I won't buy for them either.
And Swappers get higher payouts from Swap Houses, so no bird houses for them either.
That leaves Sunburn, Sonic Boom, Fright Rider, and Jet Vac. Max 4 bird houses for me.
And only 2 right now - Sonic Boom and Jet Vac are too busy going on air adventures to sit around in a house!

Me too. I just figured, if a dragon/unicorn and griffin can use it, why not?

There are many more dragons (17+ I think?) and a purchasable limit of 8 dragon lairs. That leaves plenty of dragons to put in the lairs and put whirlwinds and flashwings in birdhouses. I agree on Legendaries first, then swap houses, and putting the leftovers in dragon lair and bird houses.
