Doom Stone: An overview [CLOSED]

So, I finally got my chance to play as Doom Stone, and here are my thoughts.

He is incredibly fun to play as. His Spin attack is much more fun than Free Ranger (although Stone doesn't make the enemies spin around like crazy), his attacks hit HARD, and is very dynamic overall. It's odd that they decided to release him last, but his attack power is extremely high with upgrades.

Really? How much power is in his attacks?

His regular, non-upgraded club swing does 40 per hit, and it's pretty quick.

The charged spin upgrade does 55 per hit, and it can hit multiple times.

The charged club slam does over 100 damage. He's pretty much the Ninjini of SWAP Force.

Nice to hear. I was rather "eh" on Doom Stone when I saw his trailer, didn't seem like a really fun character, but now he seems like one I would pick up.

Can anybody find any gameplay of Doom Stone? I know he's only been out for less than a day, but there were 500 that were given away....They couldn't all havee ended up on eBay right?

Right?

Right?

Plenty of kids and several users on here (Kesarel, Mordelack, defpally, and SlayerX11) got them, so expect gameplay soon.

I picked it up on a Spring Break trip with my family to see the in laws, so my boys won't be able to try him out until we get back.

Oh wow here I thought for a second everyone forgot about Swap Force ever since the reveal. Last year, everyone who got Ninjini talked about her power and gameplay, but this year, not many were talking about Doom Stone. Glad someone finally had a report on him.

Very, very effective. It blocks pretty much every attack. I'll do some testing, but it can even block..

Why is it odd they'd save a fun dynamic power hitter for the last guy? Isn't that what they've done for every game at this point?

We don't know, nobody does.

May 16th is the date for Amazon Italy.

I tested his shield out, and it completely stopped and fazed a charging Evilized Bog Hog and 2 Sugar Bats.. Wow.

Did you test him out on shockwaves from any enemy?

His shield is impenetrable. Nothing can make him put it down. Geargolemn attacks, boss shockwaves, even full body charge attacks. Just wondering if it's the same in PvP. That'll be next in the test.

Welp, I tested him out against Night Shift. Doom Stone blocked EVERY SINGLE ATTACK.

Does it just block attacks, or reflect them right back?
Matteomax Platinum Sparx Gems: 5378
#27 Posted: 22:36:33 26/04/2014 | Topic Creator
It reflects projectiles, blocks regular attacks, and occasionally causes enemies to hurt themselves, but with a very low damage output.

I tested it against Chillydogs, and yes it does.

The jade reflected projectiles are very nice so far, they freeze most enemies.

I don't recommend the Carved Belt path, because the projectiles do only 5 damage. Stick with Serious Spinner.

The Column Clubber path is pretty nice, the individual column pieces do a decent amount of damage.

I'm resetting my bottom half. I hate Carved Belt as well. The pics showing jade coming from all angles--it LIES.

The shield becomes a great defense AND offensive weapon. Still can't beat Bash's charged tail attack though---between 450 and 768 on damage.
