Circular structures are common in BIONICLE promo art. Kini Nui, Coliseum, the Codrex and that temple-like structure at Bara Magna where Tahu assembles the golden armor. It would be nice having a toys to life BIONICLE game, but it's fairly unlikely.

And if anyone remembers the most recent BIONICLE movie, there was that coin with the maze on it.

That would make sense, as one of them is holding a mask above the "portal".

Hey, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to this. It's a reboot? I have money now unlike when I was 6? Yes. Yes I will buy into this.

I think I'll buy all of the cheaper sets (presumably the Guardians), and maybe The Lord of the Skull Spiders.

That's probably going to be more than I've ever spent on a single LEGO theme before.

EDIT: Besides the previous Bionicle theme/themes.

Considering it only seems to be using old pieces (though most are recolored, probably hue editing or simply paint), I think it's most likely fake.

Apparently these have the same rapid fire shooters as the Wookie Gunship, the ones that look like gatling guns. And that's cool.

What a pleasent surprise. Never thought I'd see Bionicle up and kicking again. Lego really listens. The Lego Movie was a masterpiece, Ninjago was gonna be cancelled for Chima until fan demand brought it back and now Bioncle returns.

What's next, Lego Universe goes back online?

Wow, are they back? I got all important original robots of first generation. When the story left Mata Nui and the characters had some damn balls they shot I felt like it has been ruined and stopped following.

Still my favorite Lego sets ever. I also have the movie (if there are more, first one then).

Oh please, this isn't something they've sprung on us this very moment. The Mask of Creation has been a part of the lore since the series began - as were the Mask of Life and Time (the other 2 of the 3 legendary masks)
