New update just came through.

New community building - Observatory (see other thread)
Timed quests - link Spy Rise (Airship) and Hoot Loop (Magic Shrine)

New inventory feature - allows you to select quantity of item to sell.

That last will save loads of time after a wishing well session.

I wish they would have fixed the problem with some buildings that can't be sold. I have a Legendary House and a 2x Bird Houses that can't be sold. They just sit and take up inventory space.

I fully agree. I have a Legendary House that doesn't work.

I have 6 extra legendary houses bought when they flip flopped the price from stones to gems and back to stones again (I bought six with stones for fear they would again revert to gems). I'm hoping we get more legendaries with the next game...

Wow that Hoot Loop toylink reward is high end . I love toylink rewards but i have no idea what the pattern is . I assume its because Hooty is not very popular that we get a bigger bone tossed to us ?

Its been a great year for playing Skylanders Lost Islands .

It is odd they chose to do this, they are essentially giving us a 300 and 400 gem item for free (if you have them). Gem rewards were in the 150 range, so that's a big step up - particularly since shrines and airships are useful, well liked and desired. Those are good enough for me to do some kingdom re-arranging to accommodate (and I'm pretty picky about that). I'm curious if a Fire Shrine will be the reward for the top level Fire Toy Link Tower (like last month was for Earth).

The Magic words are Toy Link . You or someone else had to own the toys to get the codes . Its not odd that they gave us a 300 gem item and very few got it free .
How many gems could you buy for the same amount of money spent on a swop toy ?

No I meant they previously gave us around 150-175 gems for owning a figure with those timed quests. They are essentially giving us 300 or 400 gems in the value of an item worth that. It would be one thing if it was some item that wasn't really that desired, but those are good items people at all levels will appreciate. It's odd that they essentially doubled our reward for having a figure linked.

Well technically they are in control on what they gave us and those prizes dont produce gems . As much as i love shrines i have yet to gem purchase any of them .

I could suggest our tactical use or hoarding of gems are being nerfed . I am not really complaining

What the heck is FB and LI ? I hope you kept your prize .

FB is Facebook, LI is Skylanders Lost Islands.

I think whenever you win major prizes it posts to Facebook (or at least tries to if you have it connected and authorised to do so). My recent Fire Shrine win was posted to Facebook.

There's a setting where you can choose what it posts and what it doesn't somewhere, I found it once.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned (maybe because everyone already has him so it doesn't show up!) is that Grill Master Chop Chop is back until the 14th at 50% off (750 Gems). His house is also available for 350 Gems.

The second alter ego is here, Cupid Flameslinger (at 50% off) and his hut (at full price) available until the 17th.

hubby thought that splash screen about "returning alter egos" meant a wishing well weekend. He's bummed because we're saving gems for Labor Day weekend (cross fingers for molekin market) and he really wants cupid flameslinger again.
