How big of a role does this site play in your life?


Honestly, it plays a very small role in mine. I mean, I NEVER think about it when I'm not on it, and I really only come here as a source of entertainment from boredom. But it must be doing something right, because I keep coming back.

Eh, a big role. I never would've met any of you wonderful people.

I'd say a pretty big role, given this is where I met my best friends.

Moderate. I met a lot of cool people that introduced me to a lot of cool things, but I don't let this site rule my life.

Currently? Well, I log on each day and post nonsense, and stuff. I love the community.

I'd be able to let it go...but I would miss a few people that I don't have on any instant-messengers, I just like to see some of you around. What a nerd I am.

I'd probably freak if I was ripto'd. It means I wouldn't get to be on here and talk to all of you awesome users, or PM my best friends on here.

Speaking of which, I should try to get my friends phone number/email....

I'd say reasonably large? I mean it's my main source of online interaction, even tho I probably spend more time on tumblr you can't really 'talk' much on there. And I definately find talking to people on here a lot easier than in real life. But I don't think I'd be too distraught if through some weird shenanigans I wasn't able to post here anymore. I don't really have that many people I would actively call 'friends'. I'm kinda just aquaintences with most of you.

I would rather live here than in the place I live in right now. In fact, I'm gonna permanently move in.

It doesn't play as big of a role as it used to, and as I found out I can very easily let go of this place and never come back as long as I had some contact with the people I met, and even if I don't I can manage not coming back. So yeah, this place used to play a major role in my life in the past, but now it's just a part of daily life for me, like watching TV or something. Talking to my friends here makes me happy though, and watching you guys post stuff is usually entertaining, so yeah.

pretty much 99% of my online friends are from this website so it's been pretty big these past 7 years

This place plays the role of "That website that I go to so I can talk to awesome-people"...^.^

It allowed me to learn that there is a real term for female yaoi (what I used to call it before I realized it's actually yuri), um, I've met a lot of cool people who are now my friends, and, those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head at 1 am in the morning.

I've been here for 1 and a half years, and although I did take a break, something brought me back to you guys. I don't obsess over the site, but I am on quite a bit to see my friends and Stuff and Nonsense. If I was Ripto'd, I would feel really bad because I'd miss you guys.

It influences and means to me a lot. Many of the things I learn and many good friends I have are here, including one of my bestest friends ever. This place is a second family which I actually care about, and it's always here and lets me be myself. Half my life pretty much happens here. And I don't regret anything >:3

I go here to get away from life, so pretty big. Judging from the fact I have no life. I sit on the computer all day playing old dinosaur games. Literally dinosaur games. Like BBC's Dinosaur World or Jurassic Park Operation Genesis.

And I have some of my greatest friends here.

It certainly plays a fairly massive role in my life for numerous reasons, I do visit the site every single day when I can. I've learnt alot from this place and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon... I may slightly stray away from the Stuff & Nonsense section soon-ish though. ^.^;;

Also Metallo, people are obviously still going to get extremely offended by that comment, even if it does have a small 'gag' in it.

It used to be a much bigger part than it is now, but it's still a pretty big part... It gives me something to read before school besides Yahoo news comments, and I go on it after school and on the weekends to pass some time. I've met some nice people too.

Very honestly I think being Ripto'd is hardly a problem anymore, if you had a good bit of common sense you could make an alt and still stay here with the way security is ATM.

^ only recently ripto'd users are really cared about nowadays, bro. you can say "OH I WAS RIPTO'D WAY BACK WHEN I WAS SO BAD!!!" and people would just go "wow dark52 you've gone soft" unless it's someone who has recently caused havoc, and that's also never always the case. of course, im not saying that you won't get banned if you ever say that.

some things may seem obvious, but i can understand why dark won't go on suspicion alone. if he listened to all users about their suspicions...that would be silly. many "innocent" people would be banned.

Hm, Well, I do have lots of friends on here, i really only have around 3 to 6 good friends IRL...
And i dont get bullied on here either. Couple days ago some girl went a put a hurtful note in my locker just to get rid of it from her locker. Jeez, couldnt she have just put in in the garbage or somethin? The garbage was closer to her locker than mine. Anyways, it was horrible.

I mean the security is bad in technical terms. Because JCW said not too long ago that it's really hard to detect IP addresses now.

Extremely limited. It's practically useless for a guy like me. *sigh*
