I feel like I read somewhere (on these forums) that the Wii U (and I think the Wii) is being excluded from the Dark Starter, I believe I read people being upset by that.

I tried going out to get another Skylanders bag, it barely closes and no WAY my Gnarly and Pumpkin will fit in there, LOL! I went to the complex by Namur metro as usual... First was EBGames, didn't bother trying to get the bag there, but kept an eye out for anyone interesting, like S2 Zook (the ONLY Heroic left for me to unlock, at least for SSA characters to do). Just got GTA V, that's it. Went to Walmart, OMG was it empty! The electronics section looked like the last day of the sale, or maybe the day after. 9 S1 Lightning Rod, 2 Shroomboom, and that's all the single figures they had in the main display. AND they're using the SSA banner on that section, don't think they always did... A couple of Scorpion Striker packs, and the Giants shelf having a few Eye-Brawls (both regular and Pumpkin), and that's it... Carts full of merchandise to reshelve blocking the aisles, it was a mess.

With such a pathetic showing I scanned through the toy section too, since I hear they sometimes do that... Except for a Pumpkin Eye-Brawl stuffed on a shelf (most likely someone hiding it until they can afford it), nothing there either.

I DID notice in those carts a ripped-open S2 Flameslinger, a Shroomboom, and a Swap Force Starter, I'm guessing someone tried to buy it and got stopped by the street date, which makes it stupid that it was slotted for reshelving, LOL! Low on merch, though, I didn't see those bags anywhere, though EBGames had these door hanging display cases (I need my guys portable).

I too am still looking for Bash. Some second runs of other Giants figures came out, when they stocked up to go head-to-head with Infinity, but no Bash. And he's been pulled from Future Shop / Best Buy online. I'd like to find him sometime this year, but am starting to loose hope.

I ordered the dark edition from ebgames on Tuesday night (advanced Christmas gift for the kids and me), strangely enough I received a canada post notification about a shipment being delivered to my mailbox later today. Payment already hit my visa but my account information on ebgames website is still in open status. Could it be delivered so soon?

Well I have to clue what time to go to ebgames tomorrow.....their website lists the special early opening time, 9:30 for my location, yet when I called them they said they never heard that and would be open at 11. I was invited to come early but no staff would be there. Nice.

Some staff there is great, others just have a severe lack of knowledge and customer sevice.

Not that much of a bargain when you already own Rattle Shake and Free Ranger, you end up paying 25+ for only one figure =(

Made my early morning run to Wal-Mart and Toys R' Us.

For whatever reason, Wal-Mart rang up my Enchanted Hoot Loop for $19.83! We had to pull out the weekly flyer to verify the price, and realized the bar code listed in the flyer is wrong - it's for regular Hoot Loop, not the Enchanted version. Took a bit of back-and-forth, but I managed to get the $14.77 price. Staff were very helpful, just surprised the error made it into the flyer with no corrections in the system.

Grabbed my Legendary figures at Toys R' Us. Noticed they were selling an additional mega bundle for $100, which included the Starter Pack, one of the character triple packs, and a bonus figure - Rip Tide. I must've missed hearing Rip Tide would be an exclusive for launch.

Making a 2nd run in the afternoon to grab my Dark Edition and Nitro Magna Charge.

Early morning at Walmart and Target. Walmart had to do price change on Hoot Loop (no arguments, just put it through). Target the special pack rang up wrong (27.99), showed flyer, and got for sale price. And oddly no tax at all. Special packs at Target gone by 30 minutes after opening.
Now waiting for TRU to open, to get Legendries.

At Walmart i got a Enchanted Hoot Loop for $19.83 plus tax, i asked the employee why its more expensive and she told me that it's a Walmart exclusive.

So here is what went down today for me

- Walmart 7:00 AM , Got there right at 7 picked up Enchanted Hoot Loop . A few other family's came in the employees soon put out the rest of the figures then picked up Light Core Star Strike & Light Core Smoulder Dash & then Zoo Lou

- Target 8:00 AM got there at opening got Nitro Magna Charge & Rattle Shake that's all

- TRU 8:30 the let me in 30 min early I couldn't believe so I had a coupon buy $50 worth of skylanders & get $10 off so I picked up both my preordered Legendary's and Triple Pack B and I was out of there before opening unbelievable !

- EB Games 10:00 got my preordered dark starter , Light Core Hex and Terrabite . But since I bought Pokemon Y yesterday so I got $10 off I got light core Warnado so I basically got it for 2 bucks yeah

So that's what went down today

Interesting that the Target special rang up $27.99 for me as well, no tax. I still have it un-opened, could go back and try to finagle the sale price...only if they do end up taxing me, it actually works out a bit more than $27.99. So I might just walk away on this one....

In Quebec, we got law that if a price error occur then the merchant had to give you the right price minus 10$. So we got the Walmart Hoot Loop at 4$ +tx and the target 2 pack at 14$ +tx. First day deal!!! Then at Costco they are fully loaded and price are cheaper by 1 to 2$.

Wave 2 hit some TRU USA already, supposedly 10/16/2013 is the street date... I thought things would be different this time around since DI had releases W1/W2 in the US/Canada at the same time WTF they never learn. It's going to be another week wait I guess (here we go again)

So I was back at Wal-Mart to grab Lightcore Smolderdash, and there's now a sign posted at the check-out stating $19.83 is the correct price for Enchanted Hoot Loop, and $14.77 was an error in the flyer - it's for regular Hoot Loop and the other Swappers. The lady at the check-out was actually the same one from launch morning and remembered me, and said I was the only one who got the discount at that location.

That bugs me. Since when did Wal-Mart start charging an extra $5 for store-exclusive variants? To my knowledge not even Toys R' Us charges the extra $1 up here for their figures. If the mentality of seeing how much consumers will pay to have it all is extending to the big retail chains this time, collecting Swap Force isn't going to be nearly as much fun.

Well i got charge $19.83 myself for Enchanted Hoot Loop but i told them it say on the flyers that its $14.77 and i even check it online so the employee told me to go to the customer service and they'll change the price for me so they change it to $14.77.

I did the same thing (I checked out before catching the price difference), but my understanding is once the store posts a correction / retraction, they are no longer obligated to honor the discount from their mistake. I don't know if all the wal-marts in my area (Brampton / Mississauga ON) caught the error though.

Did target receive Lots of their nitro manga charge exclusives, cause I didn't manage to get it and I was wondering if they will restock

Weird I was able to get nitro Magna charge at target on the 13 and I'm in Hamilton Ontario

I got Nitro Magna Charge on the first day from the Target in Aurora. They had about 6 more double packs left at the time.

Costco has Wave 1 lightcores for $11.49 and Wave 1 swapables for $13.99.

Did u guys have to go really early to get nitro? I went a bit late and the employee told me they sold out of him in the first 30 min after opening and that people lined up in front of their store in the morning.

Triple packs are 21.99 at Costco.
They have the giants XBOX full game for 14.99.

Nitro Magna Charge sold out in Target in the first 10 minutes after opening on release day. They have 6 x 2-packs in a cardboard box, 3 of them are with Free Ranger and 3 with Rattle Shake. Maybe you need to keep phoning Target about restock of these.

Landersky: We got there at 8 a.m. and we was 5 in line. The employees were not ready at all. The only thing that was on the shelves was Nitro Magna Charge 2 packs. Everything was sold out 15 min. later and nothing else in the back store.
