We say Good Luck since you can get nervous while answering these questions to the point that the answers might end up incorrect. Wishing Good Luck so they feel relaxed that people are wishing them Good Luck is the best thing to do now.

How come I get the feeling that some users sign up their applications for the fun of it when they aren't even applying for mod?

I'm actually re-thinking being a mod, I want to be like a member still, not to be so responsible, to be still in the comunity if you know what I mean?

I am glad to see you are doing this dark. I think that the over-all experience of this site will be better for the vast majority. I did apply but think there about a dozen other really good candidates. I can understand that you don't want to delegate to much power to other users (hence the reluctance to opening the hunter position for so long) but I hope you consider naming at LEAST three to aid you on your quest of keeping darkspyro a good place to visit.

I'm more afraid that some may be lying in their answers. A few said that they weren't, but that still has me worried. Most people will do anything to get something like this.

Though they could be removed quickly, but what about the stuff they did while they were still in their Moderator position.

Yup.
I applied because I wanted to have a sense of responsibility, especially for a website.
I've also been in the Student Work Program for my school, meaning that I've had various jobs at different places that are supported by my school.
I'd love to take my (sense of) responsibility to the next level.

I'm trying to become a mod on The3Eds, so I would sign up, but being a mod for two sites would just be too much for me.

Also, don't you think that, initially at least, major decisions would HAVE to go through dark. When you start a new position at a company, you generally have to report to the hire up for awhile, and then they'll trust you to start doing more things on your own...

Although, if dark wants to go from zero to sixty, then that's fine... <.<

You wouldn't believe it. Pages and pages of people on and on complaining. 60% complaining of the website, 40% complaining of the users.

^Oh right, it's true. I forgot that more and more people are joining the site each time. It's getting harder to maintain control. I hardly get into any fights, and I visit few sites, so I rarely see any disputes. I know they are there though, but I wasn't aware how frequently they happened

I've browsed this site for three years now, and I don't even think I have been here long enough.

If anyone is asking themselves if they should apply, you should start by asking yourself if you want to be a mod and why? If you're looking to get a notch in your belt or gain power to enforce your opinions, then this is probably not for you!

I wont be applying. To be honest, its can be taxing sometimes, and may even change your forum experience in a way you may not like.
