Huh, looks like the world forgot to end. Shame. Looks like I'll have to open up the Hunter Applications process for the first time then. Read on to find out more...

What is a Hunter?
A Hunter is the darkSpyro name for a Moderator. And what is a moderator? A moderator is a forum member who has the authority to keep order in the forums and the extra abilities to back it up. They can close topics, delete posts, edit posts, move topics, warn users and, if necessary, suspend users.

What are you looking for in a moderator?
Somebody who is mature and can be as unbiased as possible in resolving disputes between other members of the forum. You should already be a positive member of the community and be willing to help those new to the site as well as reminding those longer term members about the rules.

What kind of time commitment are you looking for?
Ideally the candidate will already visit the forum fairly often and be able to spend about 1 hour per day here. This position is not looking to extend your time input to the site just what you can do with it. If you're rarely on or don't stay long when you do visit then this task is probably not for you at this stage. Perhaps in the future we'll be looking for more short duration moderators.

What's the pay?
This is an entirely voluntary unpaid position. You're not tied into the role and can quit at any time you like if it turns out that you do not like the role or do not feel up to it once you've tried it out (or any other reason really).

What are the minimum requirements?
While it is fairly unlikely that somebody new to the forum would be selected the application process is open to all. Though if you have history of rule breaking this will likely count against you.

So how do I apply?
Fill out the Hunter Application Form and then sit back and relax. You can contine to modify your application right up until the close.

Once the application period has ended (it'll be open for two weeks so it closes on the 4th of January 2013) all of the applications will be read and sorted through, and once that is complete I will contact a few candidates through PM and proceed with the next stage of the process.
