According to Wikipedia, Australia gets the game on October 12th on the PC and 13th for the other consoles.

Yeah... so maybe they should get SyFy to make a cartoon like thq did with De Blob, or just make it a web series.

I wouldn't even be bothered to watch it, if it were based on the original Spyro, I may decide to watch it now and then, but not all the time, I just don't think it's a thing I would really want to watch and be completely interested in, even for the original Spyro and that's saying something.

I kind of agree with this. But if nick makes a skylanders cartoon i hope they don't change the characters personality's to make the show funny. Thats why Tak and the power of juju wasn't successful.

SatAM (The first Sonic cartoon). I believe that was pretty succesful.
And possibly Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.

GameTrucks are now having Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure as a first-to-play oppurtunity. Unfortunately, in order to play it, you need call GameTrucks to have a video game party.

I think a cartoon could either be good, or so-bad-you-can't-look-away (looking at you, Donkey Kong Country).

But it would definitely work well for the series. Maybe a kind of, "slice of life with adventure" thing? It'd be kinda boring/unoriginal if the same villain kept interfering every episode.
