Varedis nudged her slightly,

Rainbow, still a Seawing, looked at Beech curiously, "What do you think is with her?"

Varedis groaned in the darkness, "I wish I was a SeaWing so I could see properly instead of just shadows"

Beech slowly began to stand, only to fall again, spasms racking her now white body.

*I couldn't get online lately, sorry guys.*

(Do tell, could we know what happened?)

Rainbow attempted to hold Beech down and stop the spasms.

Beech managed to regain control of herself. She stood and stared into the dark hallway. "Hmm..." she murmured. "But what could that mean?" Beech then came to a sudden realization. "Something tells me this night isn't going to end..."

"Beech, what are you talking about?" Rainbow asked.

"I'm not sure myself..." Beech shook her head. "wow, what's going on? I was just walking... but now my mind is telling me things, and there's a voice trying to convince me that it will be nighttime forever? I think I should get some sleep..."

Rainbow blinked, "Right now?"

(Aren't we going to do something, I think everyone just woke up.)

*I know, but Beech thinks she's insane. She thinks she's hallucinating.*

"Why do you sound so surprised? It's nighttime, right?"

At that moment a SeaWing came down the passage. "The sun should be up by now." The grouchy dragon dropped a pile of scrolls at the dragonets' feet. "Sort these and put them where they belong."

(Okay, it's been so long, and I haven't checked the recent posts.)

Rainbow sighed, some of it in relief that they were finally going to do something. "Beech, it's morning, only Nightwings like the being up at night."

(Say, given the facts of Moon Rising,

*Interesting... well then.*

"But it's dark..." Beech suddenly collapsed. she then thought she was in a strange room, filled with darkness. "You are here... good. Now we can begin." Beech stared wildly around. "Begin what? Where am I? Who are you?" The voice chuckled. "All will be soon revealed."

(Is everyone experiencing this, or is this just another of Beech's visions?)

*Just Beech it's got something to do with her powers*

Rainbow blinked, "Again? Beech, are you there?"

OoC: I was thinking of poking this a few days ago, lol. Glad to see you're back, FuryBeam!

Braveheart walked down the cold, dark halls, her talons clacking on the floor the only sound she could pick up. He tail flicked as she wandered, not quite caring as to where she went. She had a nightmare, and hadn't been able to get back to sleep. So now she had found herself out on her own, trying to clear her mind enough so she could return to the sleeping area.

Varedis stretched h wings, "I hate being cooped up. I want to go fly!" Nefarian lay a hand on his shoulder, "Calm down, something's happening with Beech," Varedis was getting grumpy now, "Where's our Nightwing, was a moon full when she was born?"

Rainbow chuckled, "I can be your Nightwing, but this is my only power." Rainbow said, transforming into a Nightwing.

Nefarian laughed but Varedis only groaned, "Seriously, now is not the time for jokes, I need a real Nightwing..." and Varedis prepared to steam off but Nefarian stopped him, "Let it be, having a little fun every know and then is fine, seriously, your acting worse than Queens Blaze and Blister."uneruner

Braveheart uttered a sigh. Nighttime was so beautiful, when the moons were bright and luminescent like this. She looked around, though not much was present in the dark. She should probably be getting back soon. She'd been gone awhile. Even though the others were probably sleeping, she knew the second she'd left they were probably up to some idiotic trouble. Shaking her head, Braveheart tucked her wings close to her and walked back, the sounds of a quarrel getting louder as she approached. Of course.
"What's going on?" she hissed as she walked in, surveying the scene.

OoC: I'm fine with that. I'll put thoughts in italics.

Varedis turned, "There's our Nightwing," he growled, I wonder if she was born under a moon, hmm, let's see how you react to this then... YOU can hear me can't you, I know you can, what's your name again, Braveheart? Yes, that's it, nod once if you can hear this, tap your claws on the ground if you can't hear me.

Rainbow turned when he saw Braveheart, I wonder what power she has.

Braveheart froze as she heard Varedis' attempt to communicate to her in his mind. She had kept her ability to read minds a secret for the longest time- she indeed was one of the lucky NightWings to be born under the moon. She hadn't realized, however, that the others had figured out it was a possibility for her to be born with extra powers. This knowledge wasn't well-known. Where had they learned it? It seemed that they'd been discussing it, for now Rainbow was looking towards her, his curiosity expressed in Braveheart's mind.
Smirking and deciding to mess with Varedis, she tapped her talons on the ground. "Do enlighten me. Why do you sound so eager for my arrival?"

Beech stared around at the darkness. "We now begin!" A jolt of pain struck Beech cried out, her yell only audible to Braveheart. "Why are you doing this to me?" she said, weakened considerably. The voice chuckled. "The ritual needs a sacrifice. You are mine." The pain resumed. "What have... I ever... done to you...?" Beech panted.

Beech's scales began to lose color as her power was drained.

Braveheart's ears flicked as she heard a cry of pain. From where? She inspected the room more closely, and found that Beech was trembling on the ground. She took an authoritative step towards the dragonet. Three moons...what's wrong with you? What are you seeing?

"Help... please...." Beech's feeble cry could be heard to Braveheart, as it was sort of a thought.

*Dang laggy phone*

How? Braveheart wondered to herself, placing a paw on the dull-scaled dragon. She flapped her wings to give Beech a bit of fresh air. I hope her vision ends soon...

"Beech!" Storm yelled, but she couldn't take a step towards the dragoness. There must be something that said the word which activates the curse… she thought. I think I know what's going on, but it must already know about the curse!

What seemed to be a bright blue electric current shot through Braveheart's leg.

"NO!" Beech shrieked. She tried to escape her strange vision, but found she could not. "Let me GO!" The voice began to laugh maniacally as Beech suffered. "You are a sacrifice now... and no amount of struggling will fix that! give in peacwefully or your friend might just... die."

The current grew stronger for a few moments before returning to its original power.

"No..." Beech whispered.

Rainbow watched in shock, unsure of what to make of Beech's actions.

Beech's fading scales gained a slight red tint as her rage built up. "You can't do this! I won't let you!" the voice laughed once more and the darkness cleared. "You can't stop me."

The electricity began to shoot out in all directions.

Braveheart was shocked back as she hunched over, massaging her talon. Glaring at Beech, she growled. That stupid vision! I'll tear into her mind myself if it doesn't end soon!

Beech stared at the dragon, but before she could identify it her vision was ended. It was one of us... but who?

Varedis saw Braveheart tap her claws on the ground, Trying to hide it? If you didn't have powers how could you have known that I wanted you to tap them on the ground if you didn't have mind-reading powers, it's confirmed now, you can read minds, interesting.

Then he lost that train of thought as he turned to Beech, Whaat's happening with her? he thought worriedly.

Braveheart snorted as she heard Varedis understand the message. It was what she'd planned from the start, but now that Beech was recovering from her dangerous vision, she wasn't in the mood for continuing to joke with the other dragon.
"How's it going, Beech?" she asked the dragoness, swishing her tail. "What did you see? Is there something we need to prepare for?"

"One of us will betray the others... but that's all I know." Beech's scales were regaining color now. They were trying to sacrifice me for something... were they an animus? could they travel through time? It seemed to be one of us, but was it someone else?

Rainbow blinked, "A traitor among us?"

"I believe so, yes. But it could have been someone else... someone we meet in the future." Beech sat down, her scales regaining all color now. "We should probably start sorting through these scrolls."

Braveheart flicked her ears back. "A traitor? Count me out! Though you all are saps, we've been raised as a team. I wouldn't betray anyone." Her green eyes narrowed, flicking towards each dragon in the room in turn.

"Wasn't me," Storm added. "I can't even move, Beech, why'd you have to say that? The curse is taking longer now…"

"Let's just hurry with these." Anything to change the subject. Bravehery, help me out. Beech glanced towards the NightWing.

Rainbow joined in on the scrolls; he was curious about this so-called traitor and Beech's visions.

"Thanks for the help, Rainbow." Beech smiled sheepishly.

"Not a problem, I don't have much else to do right now." Rainbow smiled back.

Braveheart looked back at Beech, giving her a subtle nod. Rising to walk towards the others, she nosed through the scrolls. "What's in these things again that we're looking for?"

Iron slapped her tail against the ground, still asleep. She stretched out, grabbing Braveheart in her claws.

"Hey, you know, I'm still here," Storm growled, pretty much impatient.

Braveheart's wings flared as something grabbed her leg in the precise spot she'd gotten electrocuted. She yanked it out of the offending dragon's grip and scowled after she realized who it was. In turn, she lightly smacked Iron with her tail.

Iron leaped up, preparing to breathe fire at her perceived attacker. Hey eyes finally opened, though, and she settled back down. "Oh, it's you." She spit it out like it tasted bad in her mouth.

Beech looked at Storm for a moment. "I didn't forget about you."

"You sleep too much," Braveheart said to the MudWing with disgust. "Did you even realize Beech had a vision?"
