it's an idea
the plot:

Long before the skylanders, eon made a test army called the mechas. they were robot suits made for portal masters. but then the skylanders came, and the project was abandoned. but with the rise of evil, eon re-invented the mechas to allow a skylander to pilot.

now kaos has stolen the ancient 5 cores. he combined them all, and created a giant army of mutant enemies. the mechas were sent in, but were supersized in the process. they were turned into super suits. now they can be piloted by any core or repose! now kaos' army has been sent loose on skylands! only the mechas can stop them!

Mechas are essentially power suits. They have the power to amplify any skylander's Abilites. The powers of a mecha are affected by the Skylander inside. They also have armor that can be switched out for new stat boosts.

EX: a tech skylander (boomer) inside a water mecha (scuba) will give scuba a tech bonus and new tech based powers.

There are also a thing called super keys. They are linked to a certain element. They are, well, keys that are inserted into the backs of Mechas to give them new bonuses and stat boosts

EX: a key called "Hugo's Studies" may give you a 10 percent critical hit boost. This change can be made permanent in the menus. So really you can create a mecha with power boosts that can be added or changed and even customize some of the parts and colors. It's like making your own Skylander. IT PRINTS MONEY!

There are two mecha modes. Autopilot and piloted. Autopilot is when the mecha has no pilot. The mecha has it's own unique moves . Piloted is when you add the pilot Skylander to the head of the mecha, replacing the mecha's head. It turns a Mecha into a bigger version of a Skylander, but with changeable powers.

EX: hattrap is in a king tough with the Hugo's studies key. Not only does he have 10% critical hit boost, but removing king tough's scorpion staff allows hattrap's claw attack to carry out, but on the bigger scale. Makes no sense. But it sure does look cool!

Some parts and weapons change color in cold water or the sun. Some parts can insert more keys. Some parts have stat boosts. SURRENDER WALLETS NOW!

Simplified... The super Keyes give stat boosts and weapons to Mechas. They are blind-bagged. (NOOOO) you can switch out a mecha's back and front armor. A mecha's head can be removed to allow a Skylander to pilot, giving new Abilites. Each mecha has a main weapon (attack 1) that weapon can be removed to allow the first attack of a Piloting Skylander to be used on a large scale. The weapons, armor parts, and heads can be switched out. Inception is easier to understand than this!

Dubskull sounds beast, so i try him:
1: MC mash: whips his microphone, can combo into a spin
2: Gravestep: Dances and skeletons burrow underground and home on enemies. Slow but Powerful.
3: Doombox: Pull out a boombox that attacks enemies around Dubskull

My ideas for him

1. Throw dj discs
2. Summon dancing skeletons (I'll use that)
3. Summon speaker mines

One attack is a dashing attack and her soul gem would be called rainbow dashing cause she would fire rainbows
