best comics to read list
superior foes of spiderman: such a perfect book to read. you don't need to know any of the characters but the way nick spencer writes the characters makes it more like a its always sunny episode than a superhero comic. very funny and heart warming book.


vision: this book was the one that put tom king on the map as a comic writer. the good parts of wandavision are seen in here as some of it was inspired by this very book. excellent horror elements and the writing is easy to read.

hawkeye: my personal favorite comic and is the origin of the current show. it follows a seinfield like formula where the characters are all lovable even if you don't know who kate bishop is. it made hawkeye a generic cocky superhero into a depressed, sarcastic, dude with a bow.


moon knight: wanna be that cool guy who knows about moon knight before the show? read this book. very dark and bizzzare book that is beginner friendly.



moon knight: I love moon knight. this is basically fight club but in a hospital with a untrustful narrator taking you on a trip.


robin: this book is heavily influenced by manga and anime. its still going on but its been a ride so far with shonen inspired elements clearly being represented here. imagine mortal kombat but with super heroes. this is the book


batman new 52: the start of scott synders run on batman and it was amazing. great noir mystery book with action that is also feels like a classic batman story. great payoff with the introduction with one of the coolest group of villains.


the unbelievable gwenpool: arguably the most relatable book ever created in recent years. at first it may seem like a "lol silly random book" but there's so much soul in it as the writer pretty much puts his fears and self insecurites into the characters. its also pretty funny.


aquaman new 52: the best aquaman story that pretty much changed the way we see the character. instead of being dumb fish man he's a badass fish prince. the main attaection is mira and aquamans relationship.
