"See what I mean. There is something not right." he looked at Anna and saw she was smaller than when she was carried in, and the lack of recognition for those she was with was kinda consistent with Nataulia's behavior.

Marcellus snickered and followed her to the couch, choosing not to sit down. It felt better for him to stand. His attention was on the build of the house, he needed to take the room in. He scanned the room and his eyes drew to Saphira, then her gash. "What happened to you?" He asked sympathetically.

She looked at her arm. "I was fighting some of the guards that were coming from the lab that turned me like this." Saphira said to him as she gingerly touched it. She didn't need anybody's sympathy about it, she just needed to finish doctoring it.

He stopped in his tracks and his eyes darted to the edge of their sockets without him turning his head. Oh, he did hate needles. this kid was threatening him. For what reason? He turned around, looked at the needle and hissed, glaring.

This girl had similar experiences, being trapped and messed with for years. Maybe they could get along easily. Maybe by helping with her wound now, he could get more information out of her later.

Anna looked at Storm still with a childish smile. She looked close to her real age which was weird. It was almost like the effects where wearing off. She looked about 7 now.
