Yeah... I chose the shield path because as i said in another poll, i start with the one im sure i wont like... All the shield really does on he upgrade path is absorb some energy and shoot it out at enemys( in the third path upgrade absorb energy is released immediatly) and the sheild bash does 10 damage in stead of 7 (read sarcasticlly from this point on) Wow REALLY big difference. ( Stop reading sarcasticlly now)Also, my lil sis got to before I did, and since she is awful at the game ( HA she killed a level 10 skylander with chompies... HA again), she chose the sheild path, and she STILL keeps killing him!!!
Also who has a theyd be willing to give me? Since lil sis had to get , literally the only Tech skylander I need is , but he always sold out everywhere!!!!!!!!! Pretty Please (blink blink)

Oh and how do you get gems? i have 27 gems and i have NO idea where they came from.

I resetted my Chop chop and tried out the Undead Defender path. It wrecks havoc... on yourself. Try to automaticly release damage, nope, if all the damage comes quick, you end up just getting hurt. There's no need in being able to release damage, just let go and pull up the shield again, new and fresh! The shield stun actually is the only thing that I think has some potential, very small potential, that is. I think chop chop's shield is good the way is was!

DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE AND GO WITH THE BLADE PATH (VAMPIRIC WARRIOR)

I've noticed a pattern with most close range fighters, (chop chop, stealth elf, terrafin, etc.) that the path that lets you further upgrade their primary attack with the weapon(or fists) is normally better and helps you achieve more damage.

JUST SAYING...

Always go with the close range attack path for these fighters

Yay, I got Chop Chop Yesturday, but I'm not sure which path should I choose for him >.<

Choose... the... sword... path. His sheild is fine.

The bad thing about undead defender is that first, no one cares about releasing damage, just let go of the shield and pull it up again, FRESH SHIELD! When the shield takes too much damage, and lets a laser out, I agree that it does 75 damage, but the problem is, if you don't have time to pull up your shield, or an enemy attacks from the rear side, there's no way you can even get CLOSE to making a blast, and plus, you must rely on enemy attacks to charge the beam up, it also doens't go very far...

Vampiric warrior gives nice, useful combos (my favorite's the spin thing), and a damaging, huge blade. It might just do 20 damage, and the blast does 75, but if you really think about it, with a sword, you don't have to rely on others to attack, and can pull of repeated damage. The sword path ends up doing more damage in a few minutes than the shield path would.

Chop chop's shield is fine the way it is...

Lol, I can imagine a pair of laser tripwires, and above you, a giant piano, waiting to drop, with an explosive sign that read "NO TOUCHING", that would detonate if you would try to remove it... ouch...

I prefer his sword path, I have the Demon Blade of the Underworld on him now I just got him two days ago

I think I'll choose the Vampric Warrior for Chop Chop. I'm more of an attacker then a defender.
