i've been working on new chapters for the story. X3

Yeaaah! I think I'll write this some time this weekend..

ok. X3 i mainly focused on the fight, which technically lasts like three chapters.

yeah. it starts about halfway through the first, which also has info on what's happened during the time they'd been together. a quick summary. the second chapter is the main fight. then the third chapter is kind of like round two of the fight.

Chapter 91: At The Ice Cream Shop

Raven took Melvin, Timmy, and Teether back home. then she headed back to the tower. by the time she had gotten back, the tower was practically empty. Robin and Starfire had gone out on a date, and Cyborg drove to Steel City to see the Titans East, which left Beast Boy. the changeling was elated to see her, not wanting to be left alone in the tower. but instead of staying there, he asked her out. although she had just gotten back, she did agree to go out on a date with him. they dated longer than the other Titans would have expected. in fact, the relationship lasted eight months so far. actually, it was almost nine, as next week would be thier nine month anniversay. they didn't know that thier mechanical friend had opened up a poll online to see how long they would last together. some had more faith in them than others. some guessed a couple of months, one even thinking it wouldn't last one month. others thought they would last longer, but it was mostly within the first year or two. the one that guessed the longest? none other than Starfire. she apparently had complete faith in them as she had guessed forever. most of them thought she was crazy, but they wouldn't tell her that. although they were together, Raven and Beast Boy didn't act entirely diffrent from the usual. they still had thier playful banter, the teasing, the occasional fight or argument which actually seemed to be daily now. they still had a love/hate relationship, and it seemed that nothing would change that. the other Titans were very much used to the fighting, and seemed to think it was wierd when they didn't fight. Cyborg would usually make some sort of joke that they acted like a married couple. Robin understood it, but Starfire would always get confused at the exact meaning of it. now the two Titans were out of the tower. it was the afternoon, and they had just arrived at the ice cream shop. they were standing in line, just waiting for their chance to order. a blonde girl with green eyes walked by, wearing a violet tank top and a pink skirt with matching shoes. Beast Boy stared at her as she walked by. this didn't go unoticed by Raven. her eyes narrowed on the green boy.

"what was that all about?" she asked. he looked at her with a confused expression.

"what?" he asked, as if he had no idea.

"you just checked her out right in front of me." she stated.

"who?" he asked, still seemingly lost.

"that blonde girl that just walked by." she said. he looked around for this girl.

"oh. i didn't notice." he said, still looking. a vein throbbed on Raven's forehead.

"didn't notice?" she said through gritted teeth. he looked at her.

"Rae, you're my girlfriend. i wouldn't look at someone else." he smiled. she crossed her arms.

"really? then what do you call what you just did a few moments ago?"

"what do you mean? i've just been waiting in this line, like you have."

"Beast Boy, don't even try lying to me, ok? i know when you're lying, i'm a telepath and an empath, remember? you don't think i don't know what was going through your mind when you looked at her?"

"i really don't know what you're talking about, Raven." he said. she lowered her arms, her hands balling into fists.

"Beast Boy!" she scowled, glaring. she was really losing her patience, fast. "its one thing to look at another girl, its another to attempt to lie to me about it! then when i mention her, you have the nerve to look around for her!"

"come on, Rae. you know me better than that. i wouldn't do something like that." he said.

"that's a little hard to believe when you do it right in front of me." she said. then she turned to leave, heading for the door.

"hey, where are you going?" he called after her.

"back home. you can stay here for all i care." she said, venom in her tone.

Oh noes!

yes, conflict. a fight has begun. ok, this next chapter actually kinda has a video that goes with it. ever heard of Dane Cook? well, this next chapter kinda goes with one of the things he talks about.

Chapter 92: The Big Fight

Raven stormed into the tower, with Beast Boy right behind her. the dark girl was heading towards her room, and the changeling wasn't letting this go.

"Raven, i wasn't looking at another girl!" the changeling insisted.

"Beast Boy, i saw you staring at her!" she growled, not stopping. she was actually speeding up.

"i'm telling you, i wouldn't do that! Rae, just listen to me!" he said, picking up the pace.

"no! i don't want to hear anything you have to say! just leave me alone!" she snapped. she headed out of the common room, stepping into the hallway. Beast Boy was still following her.

"no, not 'til we talk about this! look, even if i did look, it wouldn't mean anything!" he said. at that point, Raven froze. he stopped a couple of feet behind her. the dark girl turned sharply on her heel, eyes narrowing into slits, hands balling into fists.

"Beast Boy, i know you looked, because i saw you! and i know it wasn't innocent, because i sensed attraction from you, and it wasn't aimed at me!" she hissed, venom in her tone. at this point, he dropped his lies, snarling at her.

"ok, fine! i looked! happy now?! you satisfied, little miss psychic?!" he snapped.

"why would i be happy about you flirting with other girls while i'm right there?!"

"i didn't flirt with anyone!"

"maybe not this time, but last week, i saw you flirting with a girl at the video store, and while i was there!"

"that wasn't flirting! i was being friendly! i was helping her pick out a movie!"

"well, then you were pretty friendly! why don't you be really friendly and ask if her out while you're at it!"

"you know what, maybe next time, i will! then you can go drool over Aqualad some more!"

"i do not drool! and i haven't even seen him lately!"

"yeah, right! a couple weeks ago i saw you talking to him outside the bookstore! i saw the way you looked at him!"

"well, at least i don't flirt with every guy that walks by!"

"i do not flirt with every girl!"

"no, just the blondes! well, sorry to disappoint you, Beast Boy, but not even a blonde is dumb enough to date you."

"why not? you did."

"yeah, and it was the biggest mistake of my life!"

"well, if you hate it so much, then why don't you go date Aqualad, since you like him so much!"

"you know what, maybe i will. its not like i want to go out with you again."

"great! i'll just go ask out one of those cute blondes then! at least they can show emotions! you're nothing but a..... a....... emotionless demon!" he shouted. then there was silence. Beast Boy was seething with anger. however, Raven's anger had subsided. that last comment had cut her like a knife. she had heard similiar things from other people, but she never thought she'd hear it from Beast Boy. it did upset her to hear it from other people, but it hurt much worse hearing it from him. it took all her willpower to keep a tear from running down her cheek. she could feel tears wanting to well up in her eyes. she quickly closed them, desperately trying to fight the tears. she couldn't cry. not here, not now. she couldn't let him know how much it hurt. she took a deep breath and then opened her eyes, putting up a stoic front. he didn't notice that she had moved her legs a little further apart, locking them in place.

"you know what, Beast Boy, you're right." she said, calmly. her voice was ice cold, void of any emotion, as well as her expression. "you're absolutely right. we're just too diffrent. this will never work. we should see other people. unless, of course, you think that's a bad idea. because i don't know, it could be a bad idea. i could be wrong about that." she said. Beast Boy was caught off-gaurd by this. he had no idea how doomed he was at this point. he relaxed a bit, thinking he was winning the fight.

"no, that's a good idea, Rae. we'll see other people. if you can find yourself a date. i doubt any guy would want to date a girl that was cold as ice and never showed any emotions." he said, glaring.

"well, you may be right. because you would know, wouldn't you? because you're just always right." she said. he had no idea what was happening. he thought this was too easy, that he was winning. "so, go ahead and tell me, because you know. you're right." she added. Beast Boy relaxed a bit more, still thinking he was winning this.

"yeah, i would know. i am right. 'cause i've been dating you for like nine months now, and you STILL don't show emotions!" he said. then there was a short pause. then she piveted her body, turning away from him. she took about four steps, slowed down, and then stopped. she cocked her head to the left, and glanced over her shoulder.

"you know, i may repress my emotions, but at least i'm not a traitor." she said, barely above a whisper. he had to strain his ears just to hear what she said. then with that, she was gone. Beast Boy just chuckled, thinking he was victorious. he didn't understand it then.

"hehe, whatever!" he scoffed. then he walked off to his room.

OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH SNAP!!!! Braaaaaaaaain NINJA!!!!

yeah, she got him good. and it works perfectly, too. 'cause i could totally see Raven doing that, and then Beast Boy's not exactly the smartest Titan, so its not like he'd know what was happening. X3

eeeeyup.

Chapter 93: Round Two

about an hour later, Beast Boy was pacing back and forth in his room. he was thinking about what Raven had said. he kept pacing and thinking, repeating her last words in his mind. a couple more hours of that and then it finally hit him. he stopped, eyes wide.

"TERRA WAS NOT A TRAITOR! SHE WAS MY FRIEND!" he yelled. fueled with new anger, he set out of his room to find Raven. he was so mad that he couldn't even remember the layout of the tower. he went in all diffrent diections, just completely lost. "where the heck do i live? where is she?" he grumled. he opened a door. "that is a closet." he muttered. then he moved on to another door. "that's the bathroom." he muttered again. he finally made his way to the common room, and headed into the kitchen. there, he found Raven, leaning against the counter with a cup of herbal tea. her legs were crossed, her eyes closed, as she raised the cup to her lips, gently blowing steam off the top of it. "there you are!" Beast Boy growled as he walked up to her.

"yes, here i am." she replied, simply, taking a sip of tea. the changeling glared at her as he paced back and forth in front of her.

"so, what you're just gonna stand there and ignore me?! you're just gonna stand there and drink your stupid tea?! huh?! huh?!" he yelled.

"that is what i would be doing, so yes." she stated.

"well, who paid for the stupid tea, huh?! who paid for the stupid tea?! i did! i paid for the stupid tea! because i was the last one to go to the stupid store, and you told me to get more of your stupid tea! and i had to get some because you drank it all! you drank all the stupid tea 'cause that's all you ever do! you drink tea and waste all your time doing your stupid meditation! and you know why?! because you have no life! you don't like to do anything fun! unlike Terra! Terra liked to have fun! she liked to hang out with me! she was my friend! she didn't betray me! she was forced to work for Slade! and you don't even know! 'cause you never talked to her! you didn't know her like i did! you didn't even like her! you don't even know!" he hollered. then he stormed off. Raven had simply been sipping her tea during the speech, unphased.

and thus the fight is over and i stand victorious. Raven thought, taking another sip of her tea.

but at what cost? you lost your boyfriend. you had a big fight with someone you care about. said one of her emoticlones.

shut up, Affection. you heard what the little grass stain said. we're nothing but an emotionless demon. we're better off without him. i say good freaking riddence to the little elf! we don't need him! Apathy hissed.

that fight was a little dull to me. yeah, we totally destroyed his brain, but we couldn't, like, hit him in the process? Brave asked.

hitting him really isn't any fun. we should have gone with the traditional teasing and insults that we always do. you know, the small, fun sort of fighting that we do. Happy said.

huh? what? were we fighting? Sloth asked, confused.

perhaps you should just simply return to your nap, Sloth. i can fill you in later, if you like. Knowledge said.

pfft. child's play. hitting and insults, how pathetic. is that best you can come up with? if we really want him to suffer, then why don't we really destory him? Rage grinned evily.

no......! you're wrong...... you're all wrong......! Timid cried out. we shouldn't be making things worse........ we should going to him to apolegize...... we should fix this..... patch things back up...... get back together....... she said.

that's enough, all of you. we're not going to do anything. we're going to finish our tea, and go meditate. that's it. Raven thought. then she let out a heavy sigh.
