No, he's confirmed to be male in Skylanders. He's only female in one of those at least three universes where the gender roles of Earth are opposite.

Yeah, because nobody wants to play as a girl and there are no good female heroes in any game ever. It's not like everyone loves Chell, Jade, Amaterasu, Lara Croft... smilie

I like Spyro as a dude.
But it would be cool to try out playing as Spyro if he was a girl.

I think he'd be cooler if he was golden or some other interesting color besides purple. Maybe silver.

I'd say purple is quite interesting. But so is golden. Purple seems so rare for dragons to me though.

I thought Spyro actually WAS a girl when I first played the game when I was younger, just because he was purple. smilie

Chiming back in to restate that Spyro would be fine as a girl.

As for male dragons being more dramatic...please. Cynder chewed through so much more scenery than Spyro (and was far more interesting to boot, at least at first).

I read the title wrong, he he.

Allow me to input my thoughts

1. Male dragons being dramatic either ends greatly or makes them sound like beech. Usually no "in-between"

2. I probably wouldn't mind if Spyro was a different colour.

3. If Spyro was of different gender, it probably wouldn't effect me, but there would be a giant fan difference, Hmm, you thought Cynder pronz was bad..

Again, I've done both. smilie Though considerably more Cynder/Ember cuteness than them being crossdressers (that only happened the one time and it is definitely not postable here).

I dunno if it'll come up. All the places that used to host that stuff have taken it down. There's still the CxE stuff in my gallery on dA (well, the sweet stuff, anyway) but most everything else is hard to find.

Of course, she's not far off from being a guy, in personality. The only way you can tell she is a chick is the whole "Dead or Alive" body.
