If you call Spyro emo for having a slight dark personality on TLOS, you may as well call ME emo for always feeling usless and never really that happy. But when you see the inner dork inside me, no, I'm not in the least bit emo. Besides, how would YOU feel if some evil dragon was going to destroy the world, and you had to stop him, and didn't feel so ready? Think about that fo9r a little bit....

DarkCynder10, what about Gnasty? He was dangerous, too. Sorceress, Ripto, Crush, Gulp, Buzz and others (especially Toasty) could be scary for a little, purple dragon. Gnasty wasn't exactly serious in the original, either. While Ripto was hiring dinosaurs and the Sorceress was mutating Rhynocs, he got a sheep. And he attacked the dragons in a hissy fit. And he took two hits to kill.

...No wonder Spyro was rather silly in that game, he didn't need to be that focused.

Because he has no life bar, like bosses in GtG and YotD have.

But even the standard lesser bosses had three hits, so that's no excuse. Heck, there were ordinary Gnorcs which took more hits!

Maybe Gnasty was only smarter than other Gnorcs? They were stupid, so he used his "wisdom" to take control of them. I dunno. Maybe he has only 2 hit points, because his lair was a big, fulled with traps difficulty? You know, all this lava, gliding etc. How about that?

If they followed that logic, then Jacque would be the leader. That level was so much more treacherous

Actually, I think I'll just say "Spyro the Dragon pulled a Super Mario Bros on us" and leave it at that. If there was any boss less serious and more pathetic than in the original Spyro, it would have to be the one in the original Super Mario, except with less petty reasons for the takeover (arguably, but the hindsight view does not help...).

And since that argument would steer us from Spyro entirely, we can leave it in the ground to gather dust. Or take it to the non-Spyro talk.

The line itself is very cute, but... Carlos Alazraqui's voice grates on my ears in this game. XD He is one of my least favorite Spyro actors. (of course, he is a god compared to, say, Jess Harnell...)

...nowadays, this line also makes me think of the horrible, horrible English dub of Naruto. "BELIEVE IT!!" :p

^ I prefer Tom Kenny's voice over Alazraqui's (his Spyro sounds like (someone said that ) he has " a sinus infection" xD ).

But Alazraqui is better than Woods. Alaz has nice... pugnacious voice, like a teen or something. Woods sounds like a tragic hero, meant to be dead in the end of story, like Romeo, Hamlet, Woerter etc.

Woods and especially his "NooOooO !!!" from ANB...yeah he realy sounds like a tragic hero

As far as Elijah Wood goes, I say he did a fine job as Spyro; he needs to gain some experience in voice acting, but I thought his voice actually fit LoS Spyro. Alazraqui, on the other hand, just has a voice that makes me want to stick my ears in the blender. That's just me, though. ^^;

This is probably one of the funniest things i heard in the game

Why do I always think of that Journey tune every time I hear this line? But anyways, the quote is pretty funny for anyone.

I wonder if Insomniac quoted PaRappa the Rapper on purpose. I hope they did I LOVE those games.
