do you use vr chat? is it worth it to you?

i finally got it running on my pc just like in windows mode and it seems to work consistently. anyway today i had to bear witness to an avatar that was like a person but covered in jerma faces

I used it some time before because a friend invited me. But I don’t seek it out to play on my own.

vr chat is like virtual reality chat! i don't have a vr headset, but with the right settings, you can run it on a computer sort of like a pc game.

its pretty cursed but i am very bored

is that the same thing as like the metaverse concept? and lol thank you for explaining it some of this stuff just goes over my head

i think it was around before metaverse and metaverse is like a ****ty copy from what i understand. vrc has more customizeable features and 10000% less facebook

overall im enjoying it cursedness aside so i can totally see getting that many hours. i think for me its a matter of continuing to play until i find the right worlds and people. ive heard of folks making really good friends over vrc!

im not at the trust rank where i can upload avatars, but when i get there, i want to try making some of my own

honestly sometimes its nice to just turn on vrc in a chill world and like have it running when you do something else. i know sometimes people even sleep in vr. some worlds are surprisingly calming

sleep in vr? i should try this because i cant sleep in normal reality now my insomnia seems to be back

tbh i think whats comforting for me at least is just hearing other people talking without the pressure of having to participate in a conversation. you have to fins a good world at a nice time with decent moderation though because if youre not careful itll be filled with kids trolls or is an ahem adult world
