well sure the point about ret con to me would stand i mean I wouldn't care about the amount of fans but maybe i have more of a spine than acti multiverse though... not a fan especially if the fan base is the sole reason why

who s to say we add anything meaningful by continuing now and sure why not it isn't like it would hurt anything sure didn't hurt skylanders when tlos showed up despite the amount of hate it got but it isn't even about calling attention to it when easily move on what do you gain by removing them... well not much

so this is the part where the 4 represents the legend of spyro 4 lol

i am the complete opposite delete any of them but leave etd alone lol and there lies the problem

i would love new spyro 4 to come out and be a bigger **** fire than etd

i personally like the game it is my favorite spyro game with the other one being the other most hated game dotd and idk why not keep it canon what is there to gain by removing it barely anything happened and to me running away from the "mistakes" isn't as good of a solution as just moving forward and learning from them

no no i would just loooove to see the salt especially from those with a suuuuper superiority complex about not you guys dealt with way more than this about it

again i am the opposite like i don't really like aht but I would prefer it be canon because there are people who do and because it happened acti just get over it

14 years on this forum and 14 years of everyone disagreeing with 99 percent of everything I say anywhere on the board no biggie but no totally sometimes the comedy of salt is more worth it to me because even if the game is **** someone like me will still like it anyway lol

well if you consider that as somehow arrogance sorry but not the point i am sharing a point of view and people disagree doesn't have to be deemed a complaint and last i checked there s no problem with voicing any of that

to the part you added it absolutely does not matter whether they made the mess because they inherited it

bold of us to think og spyro had consistent lore in the first place

personally, i'd like all games after yotd to be kept cannon if acti decides to make more spyro. it's more due to my own attachments. it's kind of fun to take a bit of lore here and there from across the spyro cannon and make up your own explanations for inconsistencies. acti trashing the mid-era lore means that you can't really bring up your favorite things about what's been lost.

if acti decides to get rid of post-yotd lore, i'd want to see them expand on stuff like explaining why all the dragons are masculine. or the connection between the forgotten realms and the dragon realms.

that being said, i think the spyro universe is already prime for going multiverse, even if doing that is boring at this point. from game 1, we've already had access to portals, so it's not much of a stretch to think that the portals can reach across time and dimensions

Meaning that they might not have to modify non classic characters like from the Legend trilogy to fit in classic(Legend is too dark to fit the style so I have no idea how they could make it work) as they can just have in the plot a portal opening to that universe instead, great compromise, but unlikely to happen.
