The only level I can remember with a terrible load time is Scholarville. This level does almost feel like two levels played back-to-back, each part having it's own boss fight.

You have to sit through the whole opening cutscene with no option to skip, then still wait an additional 30 seconds or so afterwards to finally start the level.

Were you using the NFC reader built into the right Joy-Con, or were you using a Pro Controller?

As I said earlier in this thread, we got a lot of crashes using the Pro Controller (especially when scanning the level packs), so we switched back to the Joy-Con and didn't have any further issues.

Anyone actually scan in over 300 figures? Interested to know if there is really a cap to the playable line up or can you have them all available at once.

It said you could scan 300 plus into it. It would be fun but I am not going to open every sealed figure I have to do it.
I have scaned in 171 figures so far.

I've scanned my entire collection (1 of every core, mini, lightcore, swapper, giant, trap master, eon's elite, supercharger, sensei, and every in game variant) plus over 50 Creation Crystals, and I haven't had to delete anything.

Wow, major props for that feat.

Do all the Swap Force characters appear at the start of the entire collection? Did you follow any rhyme/reason to the order you scanned everything in?

I've only kept the single pack Sensei/Villians and Eon's Elite boxed.

Didn't scan in any Eon's Elite, but did scan in all the Sensei/Villains. The only boxed ones that gave me trouble were Chopscotch and Candy Coated Chopscotch. Had to open the bottom of those to scan them. Everyone else went smoothly.

Yes, the swappers appear in the very front, even though I scanned them in later. I scanned everything in the way it's organized on my shelf: sorted by element, and by the order in which they came out (the SSA earth cores and their reposes are at the front, then the earth giants, then the earth Giant's cores, then swappers, etc.)

definitely check your figures if any are missing, I scanned my swappers later and they took some of the places of my imaginators by being put at the front

Started scanning in some figures this weekend. Mostly vehicles to unlock their imaginite bonuses.

Scanned in a few Swap Force with the intent of deleting them from my lineup (just to add them to my toy collection) and to my surprise they don't require doubling scanning to select them digitally, and they are permanent. You don't get the option of deleting them from your lineup like you do any other Skylander.

I've been playing around on Switch version for the past 3 days and I think a lot of the complaints aren't as big as they're made out to be, specifically the load times. The graphics are a bit muddier than you would find on X1/PS4 but the convenience of portable and digital library are a great trade-off.

I'm happy with my purchase so far.

Anyone having issues getting mini's or varients to stay permanent? I completed both Adventures and Giants and all regular characters and giants stayed, but the mini's and varients don't. I did the double scan to completely unlock them and even played through a complete level. What happens is I completely shut down the game, go back into it and poof once again it says I have to rescan the minis and a few varients. Not sure if someone found a work around for this. Sorry this is for the Ninendo Switch.

If they're not the Trap Team minis, the game will delete them for some reason.

Okay thank you, that would make sense then, these were the Frito Lay minis. Side question, since they werent working I deleted them from the switch, but what I noticed is when I came back to the game after shutting down and restarting, they would then reappear asking to be rescanned. Is there then a permanent way to remove them from the switch since it now seems their ghosts are haunting it lol. I havent scanned anything after then as of yet ( I will tonight) so not sure if I just need to scan something totally different and that would then completely remove them for good. Any info would be great thanks

It seems the game deletes chase variants or anything with the Special tag that doesn't have a different color scheme in game, which includes Giants and SSA minis.

PortalPowerTV released a video confirming digital library maxes out at 324 entries. When adding a new character, it deletes the slot for the chronologically least used character based on who you scanned in (after Swap Force entries).

So for example if after Swap Force your digital library starts at S1 Spyro, S1 Gill Grunt, and S1 Trigger Happy, unless you played with either of those characters after scanning them in, those would be the first to go if you try to scan more than 324 characters. If you have played with either of those recently, the game will keep them but remove the next Skylanders in chronological order of who you haven't used or have used least.

There are currently 335 individual figures, and that is not counting any Imaginators. Also doesn't include any rare/chase variant figures which use there own slot (although those don't seem to save anyway).

The 335 includes Series 1-4, Lightcores, Giants, Swap Force, Trap Team, Minis, Eon's Elite, SuperChargers, Sensei/Villains and Kaos.

There no way to get a complete set in digital library since the games caps at 324.

Assuming HB Buckshot is never going to be released, you could have a complete set of characters from every game if you don't scan Elites.

While this is true, what about things like Imaginators or the rumored new figures coming in the Fall? Plus Eon's Elites are more powerful than their S1 counterparts, so would rather not scan the S1 versions.

Although I'm sure the majority of users don't own or plan to own 324+ figures, it does seem kind of short sighted. The press release did mention you can scan in 300+, so I guess they didn't say you could keep an entire complete collection.

If I ever decide to scan in my collection into digital library, which I would only do if they cleaned up the character select screen, I guess I would cut out things like multiple series and just keep the latest one. For example keep S4 Gill Grunt and not S1-3. That would free up slots.

I just thought it was interesting that it works out like that. 324 is such a random number that it seemed like there might be a reason for it.

Got the switch version at TRU today (it was on sale so i figured why not) so i'll chime in.

Load times are longer than the XBONE version, that's for sure. Not by much, but it's noticeable.
The graphics tend to lower occasionally. (i've been playing it on tabletop mode if that helps)
I'm finally able to use my dark hammer slam bowser.
HD rumble really makes playing as certain characters fun. Play as chain reaction for a good time, ladies. smilie
