Welcome back to Total Drama Skyland!, everyone! I wonder what are taking those contestants so long. *glances at watch* It has already been twenty minutes, meaning that none of the contestants qualified to get five points for their team. (Under 22 minutes is four points, under 25 minutes is three points, under 30 minutes is two points, under 40 minutes is one point, and over 40 minutes or cheating is zero points.) *scratches head* I didn’t think the obstacles were that ba-

*looks behind me* *gasps* Ahhh, there’s our first contestant! Zoo Lou, you have won the race with a time of 21:31, scoring four points for your team! The Chivalrous Chompies are leading 4-0! Odd of you, Zoo Lou, since you said that you did things slowly on your application. You will come to realize that Total Drama Skyland! will have many surprises and twists!

Now Whirlwind and Sunburn race for second, as Echo trots for glory and Wrecking Ball rolls in the background. Sunburn beats Whirlwind for second by a spark (heh heh), placing second at 24:42, and Whirlwind earning third at 24:43. Both doing an amazing performance and earning three points for their team. Echo trots in fourth with a time of 24:51, scoring three points! Very well done, Echo! Wrecking Ball rolls in at fifth with a time of 25:03, almost scoring three points, but sadly only scoring two. So close!

Now Hex arrives in sixth, looking pretty furious with Wrecking Ball. Her time is 25:20, scoring two points for her team. The current score is 10-7, and the Chivalrous Chompies lead.

Drobot and Flashwing tie for seventh, both scoring two points each for their team, making the score 12-9, still a lead for the Chivalrous Chompies!

Dark Spyro comes in shortly behind them for ninth, barely scoring two points. That makes the score 12-11, and the Greebles being to catch up to the Chompies; but remember, there are 10 more contestants to go!

Camo, L-Chop Chop, Torch, Grim, and Cynder all arrive within the next eight minutes, scoring one point each for their teams. Quite a competitive bunch, I must say! Especially L-Chop Chop and Grim.

It has been 38 minutes, and the score is a tie of 14-14. It is still anyone’s game here, but if Blades, Sonic Boom, Spotlight, or Spyro don’t arrive within the next two minutes, we will have to go into a tie-breaker sprint, which will be quite a challenge for the first day.

*stares in the distance* Is that what I think it is?! Spyro, charging forward, attempts to break this tie, charging forward at quite a brisk speed! He could save his teammates from having to sprint and me from having to pay more for run time! Wah hah hah! Run! Aaaaand Spyro wins the first competition of the season with a time of 39:58, making the final score 15-14, with a victory and gift of immunity for the Grandiloquent Greebles! Let me say! CON-GRA-TU-LATIONS!

Sonic Boom didn't responded. She was so disappointed. All that work for nothing. She was blaming that stupid trap and even Blade's delay. She just know she could have done a better job, but then started to believe that the team she was in was just incompetent.

Sunburn wasn't as upset, but he still was disappointed.
"Well, second place ain't so bad. But losing to a fluffy, pony-tailed bear? How revolting." he complained to himself, now knowing that he won't reach his objective even after giving his all in that competition.

Sonic Boom returned to her room, and even her once again hatched babies were in the mood for anything. They tried their best, and still wasn't enough. Now it was all a matter on who eliminated who, and wondered if she did accidentally created a few enemies during her run. She was pretty sure Sunburn did though.

The half dragon, half phoenix was currently on top of a hill taking some sunlight, wanting to prepare himself for the next competition. He was certain he was going to continue on it after reaching a decent second place.
