Do we know where we have to pre-order from? Is it limited to one store, or could I pre-order it at, say, EB Games?

No details on where to preorder Kaos, but I'm guessing it's at certain local game stores.

Also, Kaos is confirmed to be the main villain in THIS game, meaning there "has" to be an "explanation" for THIS game!

Lore nitpicking aside I'm happy to have a proper Kaos figure, after all.
I still think it might not work the way we are expecting: it could simply be some kind of Magic Item or Adventure Pack just like the Kaos Trophy and they saw the perfect occasion to use the old mold since we are getting villains' figures.

The main reason why I'm saying this is that he has no visible weapon and I highly doubt he would be a staff-less Sorcerer or a Brawler.
Could switch between the 10 Classes though.

Don't know, maybe I'm simply still reluctant to the idea of having Skylanders' worst enemy as a Skylander himself.

And If I'm not wrong the text says "get it first" which implies he will be released separately later on.

i agree, i'm feeling i'm done with Kaos as the main villain for like the next 3 games at least. His mother can be the main villain in one though.

Meh Kaos is not so interesting as a villain sensei In my opinion but I think Bifrost makes a good point he's probably gonna unlock a bunch of stuff in game and now I'm just wondering what he unlocks and if it's something really amazing that force him to be a must buy...hopeful not but it's possible

kaos trap stock levels (aka damn near impossible for the first half year)

I think that he will be limited for the pre-order. If not, eh...

I guess this ruins my plans of getting all senseis on wave one, I'm going to not buy as many as I don't have to to get both the dark starter and the starter with Kaos because if he is limited, wave one can ****ing wait Kaos is more important.

I still think Kaos won't actually be a proper figure. Maybe he's some reward you get. Maybe Kaos won't work on the portal until after you've beaten the game.

Jokes aside, Skylanders does a good job with worldbuilding. Skylands itself feels massive with tons of weird out there places that you visit in the game. Hell, as much as we make fun of the Bios being the same every time, they do place a bunch of interesting tidbits in them.

Also, read the comics everybody. They are very good and well-written.

I need to pre order this game as soon as the Kaos pre-order is available. I'm not gonna let this be like the Kaos Trap was for most people. I got the Kaos Trap on day 1 but most people didn't so I hope it's not like that.

As soon as the Toys R Us stores in the US open, I'm making a trip.

I usually avoid most of these links because they're reposts of the Gamestop listings or other news sites :/ It's hardly ever worth it,but I guess there was one site that had something.

I'll just ignore people joking about lore because you could oversimplify any game out there if you disregard enough things.

Oh yea, the lore is also gonna have to line up with how he fell to earth at the end of SSA and had no base at the beginning of giants, since he should have because of this.

The lore is good and complex without getting confusing, but the basic plot is simple enough. Good balance.

Guys, just imagine this: Now that Kaos is a Skylander we can play with him FOREVER. Not have him sit in a trap only to find out next game you can't play him anymore.

To be honest, I pretty much gave up following the lore after I made Wolfgang and Kaos fight themselves
