Yeah I feel like it's been a million months not just one and a half. Just typing that reminds me that it's only been about a month and I really dislike that. When SU inevitably returns with a bomb I'm going to be salty af if ANOTHER hiatus follows after. I imagine we're all hoping SU comes back at some point in March.

Let's be honest. We all know it'll come back for a week long bomb, then go into hiatus for a month or two again at which point the process will repeat until we reach a season finally and get a hiatus lasting almost a year.

I fear this series will go on until 2018 at least... and I think we will get the end of Season 3 until then.

Am I the only one who's a little salty we don't get to see Alexandrite's weapon in that amazing battle scene? It's cool how she uses the other fusions' weapons but I was expecting my giant waifu to have a giant spiked ball and chain.

Also, interesting to note that Malachite seems to be able to control ice and not just water... I wonder why? We haven't seen Lapis control ice before so I guess it could just be her powers....

And most important thing of note of course....
WHERE THE DINGDONG IS STEVEN IN ALL OF THIS! I WANT MY CHILD AND PERIDOT TO BE SAFE IN A CAVE OR SOMETHING!!!!!

I'm gonna go cry in the corner now guys, wake me up when SU comes back. Or when I retire. Whichever comes first at this point...

I looked at the fight clip again and noticed that the changes that happened to Alexandrite because of all 3 CG's reforming aren't very noticeable. Except for the change from green to purple pants and the 6 pointed instead of 4 pointed star she's got on her knees. The star thing seems kinda weird though doesn't it?

WHEN IS THIS TORTURE GOING TO END?!?!?!?!

I shed taers of joy when I saw this. I knew that this would happen, I'm so happy! Now excuse me while I go in a corner and cry until my Lapis is on TV again.
Though srsly, I think the pants and stars changed because of Amethyst's new design. Though I don't think Pearls design changed since the last time, or was Fusion cuisine before the scary holopearl episode? I also noticed that Alexandrite was about to breathe purple fire into Malachite's face before she punched her. I guess some Fusions get exclusive new powers (ice & fire).
I think the next episodes will be by far some of the best ones.

Welp there are pros and cons to this news. Let's start with the pros:

*clears throat*
Pros:
1. HOLY HELL YEAH SU IS FINALLY COMING BACK THANK THE LORDS OF CN!!!!!!!
2. AND A WEEKLY SCHEDULE FOR A WHOLE MONTH? SIGN ME THE F UP!!!!!!
3. *more screaming*
4. SEASON 2 IS OVER!!!
5. AT LEAST TWO MORE SEASONS OH MY GLOB YES

Cons:
1. A 6 month hiatus...Ha ha, no. Just no.
2. Thanks for announcing that SU is coming back 3 months from now. It's not like it's the distant future or anything (this one is just me nagging)
3. A weekly thing is obviously great but I'm worried it'll be just for June and then in July we will all be right back in the pithole that a hiatus
4. Season 2 is over. I don't know how to feel about this. Peridot becoming a CG isn't a big season finale thing like Jail Break was. I think that might just be because of the long hiatus being the signal for "yep the season is over"
5. The renewal of two seasons is a nice thing, but it still has me worried that those other two seasons won't be on for a long while. We now have to get through an entire Season 3 before 4 and who knows how many and for how long these hiatuses will last. Hiatuses? Hiati? Hiatus? Whatever, you get what I mean.

Ugh Thank god, now I finally have something to look forward to. I think I read somewhere that the weekly schedule seems to go from June to August... that would certainly make up for the hiatus. I don't think this is the season finale already. It just has half as many episides as the first season and this wasn't very finale-like.

I'll update this post with the teaser in a bit but here's some pretty awesome news people!!!!

SU is coming back for a 5 episode little thingy starting with 2 episdoes on May 13 and then 3 for the following weeks.

I don't know if that'll lead directly into the summer of Steven event or not, but hey that's a little under a month until we see our favorite Gems
and a certain ocean bound fusion. Yes, In Too Deep is the start of 'finding Malachite' arc we've been waiting for 5ever.

I'm gonna spoiler the teaser since, while I don't know if everything in it will be in this event, there are some important topics that are covered.



So I'm gonna go through it bit by bit in a while but I'm super excited cuz it looks like we'll get to see Alexandrite's fusion dance

This topic has been quiet even though a bunch of leaks happened, but this is certainly worth the effort.

SOMEONE HELP ME, I CAN'T STOP REWATCHING IT!!!
The fusion dance of Alexandrite is short but awesome and I love how the music changes with each gem. It also seems like Lapis' voice actor isn't available at the moment cause I didn't hear her at all in Malachite's voice and maybe that's the reason why she's mute in Barn Mates. We'll have to wait and see.
